    On March 11th, Southwest Airlines became the final US carrier to reintroduce the beleaguered Boeing 737 MAX back into commercial operations and I decided to book a ticket on one of the very first flights from Orlando (MCO) to Chicago (MDW). This was my first time flying with Southwest and I ended up purchasing their Business Select package. I also included some footage of the Hyatt Regency, which is located inside of the Orlando airport, incase anyone is interested.

    I just flew on a 737 max 8 last night , southwest , from St Louis to Houston. It was my first time on one of these and it was great! Really smooth takeoff, comfortable seats, quiet interior, and a fantastic landing!! WOW! Bravo!! I was very impressed! Thank you Southwest! Even though we had several delays, everything was handled professionally and efficiently !👏👍😁✈️❤️🎉

    I agree after flying other airlines and picking my seat I do wish that Southwest would add that in, but I just pay for the earlybird check-in and I get the 2nd A group for boarding. Prices out of Denver on Southwest can't be beat so the added cost doesn't hurt.

    BC, before corona, my husband worked for the state, and was out of town 36 weeks per year. He had to fly the least expensive and the state had a contract with Southwest. Southwest also offers a companion pass, so I had the choice to go with him. The thing that I noticed about SW was BC (before corona) was they were always filled to the brim with passengers, and I mean there were few flights that left with an empty seat. They also will allow purchasing an empty middle seat between us, so it was nearly the equivalent of business class. They never provide a meal, so if you are hungry, go purchase something to eat prior to getting onboard. So the bottom line is SW is a good business model, but if you want real business class, you have to fly a different airline.

    • @nycflyertravel
      @nycflyertravel  3 года назад

      Yeah I agree. You can’t compare it to domestic first on United/delta etc. but the airline itself provides good value for money. Thanks for the comment!

      “Next time” is two words, as in, “Next time, pay attention in English class.” Also, you should have written, “are often higher than legacy carrier’s”. Using “then” doesn’t make sense. Why did you capitalize legacy carriers?

      P e r f e c t g r a m m e r not required, but you doing your research is, as in, next time pay more attention to facts, not your opinion.?

      @@stevee4636 You misspelled "grammar"...
      Your arguments make about as much sense as your grammar. It's irrelevant that Southwest's 800s/MAXs both have the same cabin, or that Boeing installs the Sky Interior on their new 737s. This video is specifically about Southwest's MAX and my impressions from flying on their MAX. It isn't a wider conversation on this airplane. Although, considering your grammar, I'm not surprised that you weren't able to comprehend this...

      Considering your lack of experience regarding such, your impressions are not relevant, now that you have reviewed, SAME, hopefully you will move on... while I work on my grammar, er, ir, oh forget it.... I guess I should have stayed awake in school....
      Bye bye bye...NYC guy...
