    Tarron,
    You can use a small piece of paper towel or soft cloth.
    You can do it straight up blending the colors with the paint pen or you can drop some of the paint and smear it with the cloths until you get the desire pattern.

    Serfio, what cloth?
    I paint on the boards when they're finished (meaning, they're complete, sanded, etc) then I use the sprays, paint pens, clears, etc..

    Use matte krylon. Not your standard clear spray from Home Depot though, this has to be for arts and crafts. Is very thin and doesn't get all tacky. You can buy them at Michael's, but Walmart sells them really cheap unless you can go directly through the distributor or manufacturer.

    Hey mate when you rubbed the paint on, what did you use? just some tissue or a hand cloth? cheers! im so keen to do the same to mine man!
