Yes Alissa is right.presentation of Power dynamic and gender roles in the movie is disgusting. No matter how much you guys try to justify the Junior-senior relationship. This is least likely to be happened in real life medical college. Being a medical student myself i know people don't have time for this kind of shit here. Also yes, Kabir is unrealistically overpowered and over-praised that's why Alisa is constantly disliking how it is being portrayed.

Like in India many colleges had something called Ragging where Senior has lot of power over junior anything senior says junior has to listen to 🙄 if not they get beaten or no help in practicals etc also Kabir is from very rich family aslo very very smart in studies and he is prestige of the college , college cant afford to loose him so they listen to him 👍
The reason why he did not take her to the special class in the last part was because the topic for that day was not something Kabir is very good with, so he preferred she should attend the lecture rather in order to understand better. He is the college topper and her senior, hence he has the knowledge and confidence to teach her.
Thorax is the region involving the breasts, heart, lungs etc. Basically everything between the neck and the diaphragm He didn't take her bcoz it would've been very uncomfortable fr her & fr him as well, & she would've felt extremely embarassed in the class the next day

I had the same reaction as you guys....Kabir was a very toxic character to an extent that it's not even realistic. Short tempered, egoistic, obsessed, controlling and addicted. The actor however did a great job of portraying the character.
If it's not at all realistic, the actor did not do a great job. Anger stems from somewhere (anxiety, guilt, etc.), it doesn't magically appear out of nowhere . Vijay is still a lot more believable than Shahid in the role.

He was all of the things that I mentioned above but yet wasn't rusticated from the college, or the way Preeti did everything he asked her to do like a slave and not to forget his character was basically glorified throughout the movie. That isn't realistic to me. I watched arjun reddy after watching Kabir Singh and I'm not gonna lie I did like Vijay better in the role but Shahid Kapoor was good as well in my opinion. Overall I feel like this movie is well done but might send a bad message to the young people in the society.

Kabir Singh is a classic Narcissist. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a horrible mental disorder for friends and family of the person who has it. It's no joke. It's as if the directors of the movie consulted a bunch of psychiatrists to create the character. This movie is great if you consider it as a portrayal of a narc.
The MBBS Course is of 4 and half yrs.... Then there is 1yr of internship... And then 1 yr of free service( which is actually not free... We get a monthly salary of 80k)...so when the internship starts.... We work as doctor.... But we get our doctors license after the internship... Then we do 1yr free service in any hospital of the state from where we got graduated...
