Depends what type of sampling. interpolating or just stealing melodies like a lot of the pop/rnb songs then i agree, but if its actually taking obscure songs or chopping samples or doing something creative & transformative, then i can respect it.

Well sampling isn’t copying. If they copied it, they could be sued. Sampling isn’t bad at all, it just means someone likes the beat and wants to use it.

It has the same sort of rhythm to it, but they also added to the audio and altered it so it didn't sound the exact same and was easy to notice for people who know that song.

A sample is a sound taken from a piece of music. It's not stealing.
