      Thank you for your comments. Summer is the best time of the year to run some trains. It’s always fun to make some videos and share these. Glad you like the trespassing cat too. Season will start now, to run some trains 😊 stay tuned

    Such an awesome sight, you have one of the best layouts ever! Very impressive Dash-9's and those huge steam locomotives is a wonderful sight!

    5:10: The locomotive is an ALCO. But the sound of the engine... It's from an EMD 567. The reason? The ALCO engines are hoarser and vibrate a lot; The EMD makes a little more noise than the ALCO, but they are a little sharper.

      Oh wow, thanks for writing this. I bought that train used, years ago. I will check that out. Perhaps there is no other sound available.

    Olli, what can I do to my track sides to allow more realistic roadbed? Also, how many 100 ton Aristo hoppers do you have?

      Might be Bryan Smiths scratch built model from Aristo-craft ALCO parts.

    Hallo Olli! Ich habe ja auch den Artikel in der Gartenbahnprofi gelesen. Scheint di bist wieder ein großes Stück weitergekommen, Respekt! Wie bekommst du das Gleisbett so realistisch hin, ist es mit irgendetwas fixiert und wie sind deine bisherigen Erfahrungen damit? LG aus Wien, Robert

    • @ollisrailroad
      @ollisrailroad  Год назад

      Vielen Dank. Meinst du den Schotter oder die Schiene? Der Schotter ist nur lose und ich Schotter immer wieder nach.

    • @roberteberl8391
      @roberteberl8391 Год назад

      @@ollisrailroad Den Schotter meinte ich, der sieht teilweise fixiert aus. Bei der Strecke hast du ordentlich was zu tun beim Nachschottern. Ich überlege noch, ob ich das Gleisbett mit irgendwas fixieren soll. Die meisten tuns aber nicht, wohl aus gutem Grund! Viel Spass noch mit deiner Gartenbahn!
