Just seeing Brook's face brings back so many memories. The character is absolutely amazing. Funny and more than anything, Emotional. Character with ONE OF THE BEST backstories in One Piece.

Aside from maybe 2 villain deaths, nothing else really sticks; the kids get treatment, Cesars lackeys got their redemption arc, and the guys that got mummified got cured later iirc

I mean, it does give us both brook and perona, so yeah, great arc
not my favorite arc (Enies Lobby) but has some great parts to it, and great fights. also "nothing happened"
Thriller Bark is great, it just had some unnecessary quips and was dragged out too long (not even the fights, but the story itself). But it had so many iconic scenes. But one can attest that nothing happened.
You should be aware by now that Luffy's criteria for people to join his crew isn't strengh, notoriety or skills, but how funny they seem to him.
Oh man, I forgot how incredible, amazing and hilarious Brook's introduction was. I love One Piece so damn much!!

I think the beginning of this arc is good as well as the Laboon/Brook stuff, but the pacing against fighting Oars and Gecko Moria was super slow. And Moria was a subpar big bad/final boss. Other than that, Thriller Bark was pretty good.

Man one piece is so great. I’m literally constantly saying “man I can’t wait until this arc is over because the next one is really good” after every arc. This arc has its moments, but the next arc is peak
Considering Luffy's full past, there was no way he could ever abandon someone to live so completely isolated like that. The moment Brook said it had been decades since he had seen another living person there was no way Luffy wouldn't get him to join his crew and save him from that loneliness.
It's like meeting someone actively living through your worst nightmare, of course you would help them.
I love this arc and Brook so much!!..
I didn't cry the 1st time i saw Brook's past....over time I realize just how sad it actually is!

That’s an L tbh if it’s one of ur favs, there’s so many arcs that are better
@Dark Flames it has great action, one of the few fights with the whole crew active, it's funny, has some great devil fruits and it has great value in future arcs, including how Moria is both a mirrored version of Luffy (a shadow in a sense) and what he represents for the next arc.
The BEST UNIQUE character ever in anime history. Change my mind.
Omg, can't lie that every single line Brook said is so interesting, his voice is beautiful.
Oh he will find out more about how the shadow and Brook scenario soon but like I said Brook is my favorite( aside from Zoro) for a couple of reasons and they haven't been revealed yet( well the fact that he sings is part of it). That first scene with him saying yo ho ho in a singing tone is great in both sub and dub.
I absolutely love thriller bark. When I first watched this show, I just so happened to arrive at this arc around the beginning of october. It was perfect timing!

I love this this Arc it’s one of the more underrated in the community. The aesthetic of this and Brook introduction are some of my favorites parts in this Arc it helps I watch this around Halloween. Hope you enjoy.

Finally the start of another one of my favorite arcs in the series. Thriller Bark is amazing and so is Brook's character! Yohohohoho~!
As far as Luffy is concerned the minute Brook said yes on the Ghost ship it meant Brook is a Straw Hat.
Brook just fits into the crew right away, his energy his melds so well with luffy

It's still amazing how Thriller Bark got there from the West Blue. He couldn't use Reverse Mountain, and the West Blue is on the other side of the Red Line.

Thriller Bark might be on the lower end of most people's arc tier lists but I think most of it is incredibly entertaining and pretty underrated. And Brook is a great character. Hope you enjoy it.

I can't hear it properly, but Luffy probably said Koropukkuru (or Korobukkuru). Koropukkuru is japanese pronunciation of Korpokkur, a mythical race of small people that live under butterbur leaves from Hokkaido. It's part of Ainu culture the native people of Hokkaido.

awesome to see brook, its a funny intersinting arc with some downs but the ups are reeeeeal bangers, like memorable as some of the best moments in the whole show. but because its kinda dragging, more than the arcs before i would recommend you to watch 3 episodes at once. espacially at the beginning of the arc
