I have heard this from one of my cousin. She saw Rajesh khanna herself. She always speak this proudly getting any scope to mention the name of the First Super Star of INDIA in any type of party. She is now more than 67 years old but never forget that golden memory what she cherishes. I myself is a great fan of Rajesh khanna. I always wished to see him but never got that chance. I have seen most of the movies of rajesh khanna ji.. his acting just touched me.. a special actor., great messages delivered from most of his movies & almost all of the songs from his movies are beautiful.. I'll always miss rajesh khanna ji.. I wish atleast once I could have got a chance to meet rajesh ji..🙏

I was in 1st standard when Aradhana was released.....suddenly we started hearing about Rajesh Khanna. His movies that followed created such a mass hysteria, unbelievable it was. Then came Anand and that was the first Khanna movie I watched followed by Haathi Mere Saathi. I must confess we children were swept off our feet. We laughed with him in Anand and wholeheartedly cried when he dies in the movie. Each n every family in India that had kids watched Haathi Mere Saathi. The craze and hysteria and popularity he generated was witnessed never before and never after......
