    I also drive an EV6 (RWD) and came back from vacation from France this weekend . Also had a hefty consumption at 130 but surely that was largely due to the head wind, did you maybe suffer from that too?

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  Год назад +1

      I drive in one direction and than back and there was just a slight wind, so wind did not affect it.

    My first EV6 (RWD) did exactly 390km@130km/h (GPS) on 235mm tires. My new EV6 (AWD) does 370 under the same conditions. Alle tested on the german Autobahn. I think something was wrong with your ev6 or its all due to the wider tires.

    Luckily it charges very fast 😅 Pretty interesting the older models, Kona and Niro are more efficient than the new ones... wonder what happened there.

    Richard Symons [a channel from south of England] just did a test with the Ionic 6 [against an i4 and T.model 3] and had a terrible time with the satnav software with it failing to understand voice commands. Any joy with voice commands on the EV6 with its common tech with Hyundai? I guess you have to choose the language...

    Hello. I've got the Gt Line AWD myself. Went on a road trip from South Carolina to Virginia in the US. I got about 225 miles/ 360 km of range with traveling highway speeds between 70 and 80 mph. That's while having the AC on. Surprisingly different results than your vehicle.

      74,5 mph is the highway speed limit in my country. So an average (in the car, not gps) about 76mph is REAL LIFE test. I do not drive as I have egs in my car. I drive in the speed limit. Any car that to keep within the proclaim range must be drive like a egg transport is not for me. If is for you, thats all ok, of course.😊

      Pretty simple. My trio computer showed 2.9 kilowatt per mile. This model has a 77 kilowatt battery pack. You do the math yourself.

    Quite high consumption for KIA.
    My ID.3 looks surprisingly better as per my last highway test: 127 km/h for 200km and I got around 18.5-19 kwh/100km. I feel like it really got better with sf version 3.2. Are you planning to do a consumption test on your ID.3 after you get the 3.2?

    • @hape4
      @hape4 Год назад

      127 km/h at your tacho is probably about 123 km/h in reality. Just put around 134, that 7 km/h be astonished what happens to the consumption.
      We have Skoda Enyaq and EV6 to compare and Kia seems a bit more efficient in daily use.

      @@BatteryLife do math homework First. Change in Speed (time) Is 12.5%. consumption difference between 120 And 135 Is usually 19.2 vs. 25 = 30% difference... So you can get 30% more range with 112.5% of time. Easy.
      + The recharge Speed Is ONLY between 20 And 80%, So IT IS important to use full range... 70% vs 100% of range Is big difference in SOC. IT IS Nonsense to run 100-0,.. not effective.. So 30% percent of battery Is super important.
