It is the nature of world we live in that the infrastructure requires constant maintenance. Besides that nothing in this video indicated that the leakage from the dam was a problem so I have no idea what you are going on about.
The USA is reliant on 70+year old infrastructure. But heaven forbid taxes get raised on billionaires to rebuild anything before catastrophic failure happens, those poor billionaires are barely making it.
Hear hear. Trickle down economics is total horseshit; it's time that we take back that those tax breaks for them ( Tax breaks that people were sold on by the promise that rich people would actually make investments in people's jobs and the economy if they were given those tax breaks) and take the extra money gained in tax revenue and make the innvestments ourselves that they're obviously not making and never did
Oroville is currently less than 3 feet from capacity, with a very large snowmelt on the way. It will be a miracle if the dam makes it through June without a serious problem.
2016 trump approved raising Shasta Dam for 1 billion after 30 years of studying the raise. All issues would have been addressed at that time but Gavin stopped the project for other silly projects. Note that record rains have happened since 2016 with all the water lost.
What's misleading about it? The title said the dam was leaking cuz it's full. And the Bureau of Reclamation official, Bader said the leak was not a problem. Stop trying to make something out of nothing and you'll be happier.

Why didn’t they fix it during the drought
Can't fix a leak if you don't have the water to show the leak. It's leaky seals and within tolerances.
because giving drug money to homeless people is more important
it wasn't leaking

"The amount of seepage or leakage was not a concern". Bader said. That was the last line in the video. Duh
I wouldn't live below a dam

You only worry about leaks when it's raining. When it is not raining who cares. Ten foot tall trees are not a problem. Lets party!
This is one dam nobody has to worry about.
I sure hope this big bastard doesn’t rip open that would be terrifying😮😳🧐

This is there excuse to let the water out and keep the drought happening. Follow the money
No dam is built to last 100 years. Look at all the dams that broke in Brazil. They were not as old
