Great video for Blake!! He should really enjoy it!! I agree about not shying the kids away from hands on work. I was teaching my teen daughter to change oil etc as she wanted to learn. Then she married a mechanic. 🤣🤣 I love how you always got something cooking behind the scenes. We never really know what is coming next
In an insane world the sight of an L2 is so refreshing . Dont worry about plugging . The trap door pops first most of the time . Ive done thousands of acres of wheat and oats with those things
Watching your older Gleaners at work I had to get my old N7 Gleaner out and put it to work have it on our channel Kessler Grain Farms them old buggers sure can knock down the grain
Wow great video !! you know l love Gleaner! Yep a 20 ft ridged head would be a great match for the L2 or you have to lock the flowing cutter bar up!! Cant wait to see the AC round baler it action too!! l will be watchin!!!
Great video and impressive time and care in filming for that young Australian lad . 🤝 . That was well done . The gleaner , as usual , is poetry in motion 👍🇬🇧
Great video. When we had our L2 in the 1980's the combine rarely broke down when it did Quick fix. Now we run a 2012 combine and every year we lose a 2 days of down time and get the dealer out to try figure out what's wrong with it.
Dang, ur L2 looks like a monster of "yesteryear" from back in the day. Love the steer tires you have on it, really sets off a good looking stance. Not very economical to run compared to modern equipment but very nice you took the time to show it in action.
Thanks for sharing, and awesome to shout out to the little viewer...HI BLAKE.
Great seeing the ole girl earning her keep !
Great action video great job thanks Brandon and whoever did the camera work
Thank you!
That is one good looking piece of history. Still running and working the way it was meant to. Thank You for keeping it Alive! 👍🇺🇲😉
Thank you for watching!

Cool project and nice looking steer tires to set it off!
that was such a massive amount of material passing through the L2 gleaner! good luck bailing the straw!
I grew up in the same Gleaner, fun seeing one still running!
Great video and combine. The high flotation tires really add to the looks. Thanks, Boe 👍
thats why i like your videos with gleaner combines
Thank you!
Very good video, thanks
Nice L2 action! Took me back to high school.
On all our gleaners we had G.M and L3's with 24' head, that ball in the middle told us it was feeding just perfect.
Great video Brandon, nice to see the old Gleaner still at work and yes I bet you were getting warm with the A C out of commission 👍
Man I love that Gleaner L2 good work horse
Thanks 👍
Brandon we call combines in Australia headers.

I plugged it once the thrasher door popped open but it still plugged lol I learned fast
Use to open my side window and listen to the tailing chain sing like a sowing machine
Watching your older Gleaners at work I had to get my old N7 Gleaner out and put it to work
have it on our channel Kessler Grain Farms them old buggers sure can knock down the grain
I want to run a N series so bad I love the way they look I have a model of one that I built that was 3d printed I made it for soft ground
Instead of having just a plow day .
You should hold a bailer day , and invite anyone who has an antique bailer and tractor out 😮

wth great shout out
I have a friend who's getting a Glearner up and running after sitting for 40 years
To get the Gleaners to do a great job of threshing and cleaning it is best to run them full.
I believe I told you my silver seeder story. Brandon that is a bad place to have the crop hang up in a header..
If your trap door is set right a wad should pop it open instead of plugging it
Love content
Thank you!
Hi love watching your channel I would like to ask you why were you not cutting a full width of the header comb.
The reason was to try to make smaller windrows of straw because we will be bailing with a small square baler
Are you going to bail it with the Allis Chalmers roll bailer you picked up last year?
Going to try to bale some with it
What a treat to see it working.
Only ever seen one other channel with a working one in the feald,
👍
Slow your reel down..should be spinning just slightly faster than your groundspeed.
Where has dad Strength been lately?
He took another job
the ac quit because you said wheat around the L2 lol mine never gives trouble to wheat season
No double crop soybeans?
It's tough to double crop soybeans in our area unless you can get some water on them right away
You have big windrows for baling
But you unplugging a combine on a hot day would make a great video if you censored it, or not.
Reel speed is too fast, beating grain out of wheat heads = grai lost at header
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
