I think it is easier to kill this guy with flare guns, all you need to do is stay behind cover, avoid his jumps and flare gun has enough DPS that you will only need 1 first aid at most. Use all barrels for damage. This method is also good but for me, flare guns are super cheap so I'll use them instead
@@Hagurmert The point of this is saving flare guns. They are not "super cheap" because you need to spend 2 aluminium plates to craft it and that requires to farm wood and aluminium ores. So it's time consuming.
@@Oliwier4 I mean to me it is extremely cheap, I already have hundreds of each material, except the thermite as I only have about 70-80. Me being an end game player helps I guess
@@Hagurmert you had to spend time farming it right? You didn't just get it out of nowhere (unless you bought it with money). Also those flare guns have low durability so if you have 500 plates for example you will burn trough 250 flare guns quickly if you do daily challenges etc.
@@Oliwier4 you don't use flare guns that quickly, it has quite a decent damage output so you won't run out of flare guns quickly. If you ask how I have a lot, well a lot of it is due to previous grinds on the plates but plastic supply is basically infinite thanks to settlement daily loot and also the plates are in surplus thanks to settlement daily. Also I don't have any other use of these plates, no more mods remaining (I assembled all of the useful, even some useless mods like purple Winchester mods even) and these resources are just sitting there. I'm not making many flare guns at once since I have a trouble even storing them, my fifth gun rack is almost full... Gotta make some space somehow

Tbh i like that they added in a new boss that isnt too hard. Unlike Bunker Bravo or the Lab which are incredibly difficult, especially for newer players. Its a nice break and a funk fight. I prefer the boss where you really have to think about your moves and use tactics instead of just bluntly hitting or shooting
I didn't know until now that after you broke the 1st torch, the weapon from the bag will automatically go on your main weapon slot even though it's not in the extra slot. Thanks for this great trick mate! . . Faintsmile

This is also the way I killed him the first time. No need to go all the way to his back, just do a sidestep enough to avoid the area attack, so you could hit him twice per dodge

I think the flaregun is cheaper than the torch, but still a good alternative strategy and good to have alternative ways
