It was a really toxic relationship, and after driving home from her place for the second time, I realized how bad it was. While I was driving through the rice farms of Southern Arkansas of all places, this song came on a playlist I made for the trip, and I felt happy for the first time in a long while, knowing that I was making the right decision to end the relationship. Now im 39, I live in a house, I read history,write, watch anime,read manga,fool around with my boyfriend and build models.But ive never forgotten that sound, raindrops on the caravan roof. In an instant im ten again, sitting reading(history book even then)next to my sister, my dad watching the black and white TV at the other end of the caravan and my(sadly deceased)mum cooking on the small cooker.I had a wonderful childhood and the sound of raindrops brings it back.
