This came on the college radio station at like 4am one morning when I was going into work, barely awake. I had to record it on my phone to make sure I didn't hallucinate it. I didn't. I'm not sure if that's better. I rolled the windows down.
This is how you do a mashup. You dont just take two random songs with the same time signature and play them at the same time, they have to mesh together.

you know when people ask me what kind of music I like I always say it's a bit inappropiate and the look of soul crushing disappointment when I play this rather than gangsta rap and strip club music or whatever they were expecting gives me power
You know, with the different music and more upbeat delivery of the lyrics, it makes it sound like it's being sung by a typical male MC who's predicting/hoping that his crush (likely a tsundere who was mean at first but is warming up to him; the "fire in your heart is out") is going to realize that they belong together through others "throwing it back" to her *(like other guys rejecting her and/or her friends telling her she and MC should be together)* because he himself hasn't been able to confess to her *(there are many things that I would like to say to you but I don't know how)* But she refuses to admit to liking him ("they'll never throw it back to you"). But still, MC continues to hope and sing of how his love remains, that still nobody loves like he does, even though he himself still can't come out and say it before her. So basically a typical romance anime that goes fucking nowhere.
This gave me prostate cancer. But it's a good form of prostate cancer, but I think that's my problem. Kinda like how torture techniques backfire when used on an extreme masochist.
