I really like the Naruto ccg. I wish I could get a group together to play once in awhile. I would even invest a little to build some of my favorite decks. Those being: tailed beast (never got to play but looked fun), mental power (probably the last deck I played before the game died), no hand water (never got to play, because it was really expensive. But looked pretty fun). There was some other decks but I really couldn't afford to keep up in this card game, mainly because I was playing Yu-Gi-Oh as my main focus. But one day if I can get somebody to play with me and build some decks I would probably keep them forever. I don't really know what happened to the cards I own when the game died. I think I gave them to a friend but I can't remember. Great video! Sorry that I didn't watch it until 4 years later.
I have played Magic for 13 years now, (Since I was 13) but I played the Naruto CCG for a few years before that. Cards became harder and harder to find and that was why I switched. It really bummed me out when all NCCG production stopped since the game was insanely good. The game went so far under the radar that most people never even knew there was a Naruto card game, let alone know how much of a gem it was. A couple years ago I bought two starter decks from the Kage Summit set since I didn’t have any of my old cards anymore. The only problem is that no one has cards, knows how to play or wants to play. I would let them use one of my two, but the Gaara deck has never beaten the other one since Mental Power is so oppressive. Occasionally someone will be willing to play though, and even if I get destroyed I have a blast. Sorry for rambling. The point is thank you for making this video. It’s nice to see someone else appreciate the game that I loved.
Right on! You know, there's actually a way to play it online through a site called Untap, if I remember correctly. So if you ever get the urge to play, go check it out and see if it's still up.
The Naruto CCG was my favorite card game. I was in second/third grade when they discontinued this game. I was so distraught when all I could find was Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon. (Itachi Uchiha [Right Ring of Shu] is my favorite)
This is a fantastic video. I hope people are discovering this game through your videos about it. This is a very informative video that a newbie will find very helpful.
Helllllll yeah, I remember the days of Naruto CCG with all my fellow elementary school friends. Out of all the card games I had as a kid, my Naruto ones have stuck with me the longest, and I'm pretty sure I could take everything out and have enough for a good dozen people to make decks and play around with for a while. I still remember when the Six Paths starter deck came out and I freaked out. I'd been keeping up with the manga in Jump back then, so seeing a total Akatsuki themed deck really excited me. I've also thought about throwing some money in it just for fun, and after seeing this I might just do that. Until then, I wouldn't mind seeing some random Naruto videos from you here and there if you're game for it. That with some Final Fantasy coverage, I'll be a happy camper. You have an awesome day my dude
So question, at 19:32 you mention that even though the blocker was removed from the battle the attacker still doesn’t get battle rewards because they were “blocked”. This is the first time i’ve heard of this. I think most everyone always assumes because the showdown step takes place after eoj you check if they were blocked THEN not before to determine if you take BRs or not. I feel like it makes cards such as fear by genjutsu completely useless if this is the way this works. Were you mistaken, have the rules been changed, or are we all missing something here.
Once exchange of jutsu has completed (i.e. both players have passed successively) you then move to resolve the combats. If a team is unblocked at this time, the team earns battle reward(s). So you are correct.
My card game fun times with a special deck is Magic The Gathering when they made Unstable set. I made a dice rolling deck, and I made it decent to where it wins some games and it loses some games, but it makes you roll a lot of dice.
I love this game as well, I actually forgot how deep this game was but I use to play every day with one of my friends in highshcool, I love this video thank you so much
this is the first video i found of yours and i'm really glad i found it. instant sub btw. I wouldn't mind listening to an uncut version longer than the 30 min this video is. can't wait to see your other videos! I hope to see this series go on for a long time. If you take requests, I wouldn't mind seeing a video like this on the original DBZ card game.
I love cardgames, have played many and if you ask me Shaman King tcg (the one that got distributed in america) is the best one, but for a silly reason. The game only had one set, the "starter decks" where essentially fat booster packs, and the sole reason I like it as much as I do, silly as it might be, is that since I played it for the first time I was marveled at the way it is played since it perfectly mimics fencing (at least to me it does). But I relate, you like Naruto CCG as much as I do Cardfight!! Vanguard. I also like Naruto CCG a lot due to it being so different from other cardgames.
Anybody got tips on how to spot fakes/counterfeits, if any? how would an actual card look during a light test, bend test etc? just wanted to make sure as there is very little information online, anything will help! :)
Can you do a follow-up video to this? Benn looking to get into the game but don't really get it completely. For example: around 15:50 you talk about moving kurenai as the head-ninja. When can i change the head-ninja of the team?
monatu8 it’ll be a while until there’s another Kudou kun video, but I can answer that question. You can decide head ninja during the organization phase of your turn, or when the team is sent out to defend. Either one works
I want to replay this game... i only have one deck, but was in the process of building a tailed beast deck, and wanted to build another , but literally only one person in my town plays it.
Hi Kudou XD love the video you made on naruto. I have try the game and play it a few times. I do agree that the game was fun and sure have many unique play. But just like all the sad back that you say, i just did not like how competitive it became and the game lost it balances after that. The coin flip play, you can still enjoy such a build in buddyfight TCG {Dungeon world} where you can troll with coin flipping and many more. You should try it out and maybe you might enjoy it as much as you did with this set. Lastly, I totally agree with you on what card game you love should not matter what others think of it. I personally love many other card games and still continue to play them on a none competitive level just for the sake of fun. But if balances card game for my personally enjoyment and fun would be Victory Spark XD i love that game so much and still enjoy it even after it stop production. Maybe we should just make a dead come back for all card game with our close friends that still play them. Look forward in seeing more awesome video you made.
This still is my favorite card game ever made. I wish they never stopped making it. Back in 2010, I was a routine guest on Naruto Shippuden Live(the CCG podcast at the time) I was Fayt Susomi in case anyone remembers.
I was introduced to this game as it was on its way out. The depth of the battle system was fascinating but I never was able to get a deck of my own, and nobody around where I live really played it. Sad panda.
Great Review. My only wish is that you went more in-depth with more basic things. Like Card limits, characters of the same name, deck size limit, etc. I also have a question: In the case of Water Prison during an attack. I get that it gets injured/dies, but do I also take damage? If it's not too late, I'd also be very interested in a Yokai Watch review. If you're referring to "Yokai Watch Inspirits" and not the Hasbro game. Edit: Nvm, you literally made the video 3 hours before I commented lol
I'm not totally sure what your question is for Water Prison. Water Prison makes the Combat of a ninja go down to 0. So if a team is 6/3/3 (12) Then after water prison is played the team will go down to 0/3/3/ (6). So if the opposing team is between 7 and 10, the head ninja will take one damage. If the opposing team is 11 or higher, the head ninja will take 2 damage and each back ninja will take 1 damage. As for your idea about basic info, looking back I agree. I guess I just didn't think about it because the game is so old I didn't think anyone would really care about the specifics outside of the flow of the game. If you're interested, deck size is 50 cards, reinforcement deck is 15 cards. Up to 3 cards of the same name, so you can have x3 Gaara of the Desert and x3 Gaara of the Desert(childhood) in one deck. Different entrance costs don't mean anything, so you can't have x3 Sasuke Uchiha at turn 0 and also x3 Sasuke Uchiha at turn 5, unless of course one has a different name. The normal numbers were 30 ninja with 9-10 of them being turn 0, then 11 Missions and 9 Jutsu. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!
You say that you can play 3x Gaara Sabakuno and 3x Gaara Sabakuno (Childhood) but what if 1 attribute is "name: Gaara Sabakuno" as that is the case for some cards. Doesn't that limit you then? And was the deck limit upped? Because I have an older ruling book here and it says that the deck must be 40 cards.
Love your passion man- I wish this game was still around strong. I never got into it, but I truly wanted to start collecting, maybe get my local group of guys who play (Magic, yugioh, vanguard, etc) into it. I was hopeful maybe you would help me out though a bit; some advice. I want to build a deck based around Itachi and Susanoo- what would this realistically look like? I absolutely love the susanoo's in the series, and as a collector thats what I want to go for. With my very small grasp on the games concept, if you could shoot me a decklist or advice on how it works that would really kick start me. Thanks again regardless for all your words- very clear and concise with your editing. Having it laid out like that really helped me appreciate it. To be honest when I started to watch I was extremely skeptical- "Narutos ccg being that good? no way" but while I may not necessarily think its the greatest, I can absolutely see your points even from this.
So, now that I'm settled in, I'll explain how Susano'o works in the CCG. There are two Susano'o, Itachi's and Sasuke's. Itachi's works like this: As long as it's in play, your opponent can't win through Battle Rewards. In terms of magic or yugioh, it's the equivelant of having a card that says "You do not lose the game if your Life/Lifepoints are at 0." The best part is the effect cannot be negated by any means, and it retains the effect through being injured. Sasuke's Susano'o lets you give your opponent a battle reward every turn in return for destroying a ninja, discarding a card from their hand, and one chakra. There are three variants of the deck, I can imagine. The first is a Water/Fire deck based around Sasuke and Itachi using the Susano'os as a win condition and focusing on keeping them alive and controlling the field so you can stall until your opponent has no hand and field, letting them take battle rewards if need be because you can't lose through battle rewards, then attacking for game when they run out of resources. The second is complete cheese, where you throw in Lightning and play the Naruto that lets you turn your discard pile into your chakra and when you spend chakra it goes into the deck. This is a bit of a one trick pony, but it pretty much makes the game last nearly forever. The last deck I could see is a deck based on getting to look through your opponents battle rewards or flip them face up for effects (Earth in Naruto has counterblasts like Vanguard, lol) Because your opponent can have so many battle rewards you can use that to your advantage to spam good effects. If you decide to seriously try and build a deck, lemme know, I'd be more than happy to help!
So Kudou, have you played Universal Fighting System? It's one of the few games that does not suffer from game screw as deck construction is such a huge factor in how it's played.
If you're looking to just buy a deck for yourself, go for one from Kage Summit, Invasion, or Hero's Ascension. If you're trying to find a set for lots of people to get into, and decks before set 8 might be more fun because they come with side boards.
I wanna play now I mainly play yugioh and pokemon and used to play magic but this seems so fun due to the level of strategic possibility that this has for the same cards
Hello, I totally agree. The only time your left to the wolf's is in you mill too much. But in MTG you are so reliant on mana, and with Yu-Gi-Oh you have to run your deck with special summons other your just dead. Anyway, im getting back into Naruto CCG and remember the rules and how to play for the most part, but I had a few questions if you would be willing to lend me some of your time. I'd appreciate it so much amigo
I doubt this will get a response..but I'm interested in getting into the game, but can't find where to buy the cards online. Specifically looking for a deck or two already made..someone had an Akatsuki deck and that really interested me
This is such a trip down memory lane! I remember playing it loads, but my locals kind of stopped... Is there any place to research past banlists, set rotations, etc?
It's rough, most of it was on the bandai website and very little of it was saved when it got taken down. The best place to look for information is to ask people in the reddit groups, and even then it's mostly hearsay
@@KudouKun That's such a shame! I used to love this game and more information would definitely make more people want to play it/make online platforms for it... Oh well, great video, man!
could you maybe show a bit more things in this game like a few decks or show a couple games (if that's possible ) I'd say yokai watch I already know a bit about final fantasy so
Hey, I have two Ruling questions about the old ccg pre shippuden and hope you or someone else could answer them: 1. Regarding platoons, when building a deck, do they also count as the names of the card or can you play 3 sasuke, 3 sakura and still play 3 sasuka & sakura cards? 2. If a card like for example leaf headband gets a ninja in my village, does this ninja have to fullfil the turn and habd costs? Or can I play a 6-drop in turn 2 without additional costs of the ninja itself if I get him out with leaf headband?
1. When deck building, the only restriction is you can't have 3 cards of the exact same name. So you can have Gaara, Gaara (childhood), and Gaara & Temari all at 3 copies. 2. The short answer is no, but if your plan is to get out a platoon you do still have to have a valid platoon target. For example, you can have Naruto in play, then drop Leaf Headband and pay for it with Naruto & Jiraiya, then use that Naruto & Jiraiya by platooning it on your already in play Naruto.
Thank you a lot! Last question: Do platoons count as 2 ninjas too when playing a mission? The video is great btw, you explaining the rules etc was the reason for me to just expand my childhood collection and play it with some friends. :D
I like a lot of things about this game, but it is not without flaws. The main flaw in this game for me is the way 1 hit KOs/2 rewards are applied, the having 5 or more power in comparison to the other card is really arbitrary. This could have been made better if there simply was a KO stat that could have been 5 for most characters. I also am not a big fan of the turn restriction because it allows you to count turns with outside resources. If there was a system in the game that tracked itself, it would not be as much of an issue. On the other hand what I really love about this game is the healthy/injured system. This is where I think the game made something quite genius. Having stats that change based on the state of the card is an incredibly creative system. And a unique way to use the horizontal positioning of cards.
I still play the european version which died way earlyer and only consists out of the cards before shippuuden. its a super fun game. as the cards are the same as the american ones before shippuuden, I d appreciate some deck ideas and combos with the old cards only as I have a giant collection and want to get some decks together to convince my friends to play it lol
You mean like places to play online? There used to be tradecardsonline, but its dead now. I hear Untap has a system you can use to play, but havent tried iot myself
i think they should bring back naruto ccg but call it naruto to boruto ccg and bring boruto characters into it but before that make a 29th set with naruto the last and sage mode madara and the 30th set would be boruto PLS READ (yokai watch)
So wait, if I have a Naruto card with 6/0 and I attack and they block with Rock Lee 3/0, I get injured and his Rock Lee is injured? Even though my Naruto is 3 higher
Please, can anyone answer my question, there is a card "naruto uzumaki (six tails) that you play from the reinforcement deck, it states : "When this Ninja is put in play, discard all other Ninjas." so, do i discard only my ninjas? or does this effect includes my opponents ninjas? thanks in advance.
OMG, thanks so much for the answer !!, i only play Naruto with my brother right now, hence we argue a lot about some rules, thanks again, now i can destroy all my brother's village ;)
If you think this game is strategically in depth, you should check out the old WoW tcg. Best card game ever made hands down due to less rng thank most others.pure strategy and it makes you feel like you are leading a platoon (or fighting one solo if that’s how you build your deck) just so many options
Hey please help!!! I've recently got into Naruto and really want to start collecting and playing the Naruto CCG. I'm just very confused as to where to start! Which pack should i buy first? The most worth (money worth) pack purchase for me would be the "Broken Promise Booster Box 24 Packs" but i'm not sure if i would need a starter deck before purchasing this? also is the Broken promise booster pack its own category? I just want to know what to get first. PLEASE AND THANKS!
vanili00 there should be some sets called “Tournament Packs” that contain all of the most popular and useful cards from certain points in the meta game. If you’re playing classic Naruto, get boosters from “The Chosen.” If you’re playing the latest Naruto, anything from set 19 and up should be fine
vanili00 Nah, I mean when Naruto first started decks were 40 cards and there was no Reinforcement deck, so the game played very very differently. Then the deck size switched to 50 and they added Reinforcements, so if you’re going to play you should decide which format you like better and buy sets to only support that format. If you want the newest stuff, everything before reinforcement is useless, and if you want to play the simple and cheap way, everything past reinforcements is useless, lol
Nah, it was too unreliable and too punishing if you didn't have a way to negate a tails. That being said, there were a lot of support cards made for flipping coins, so it wasn't nearly as bad as it was in other card games (I.E. Fortunes from Yu-Gi-Oh)
@@KudouKun makes sense that it wouldn't be meta, still sounds hella fun ..probably OTKs. Gotta look up fortunes, I just started playing yugioh this yr. ChronoClash or none of the new games have piqued your interest? Been missing your input out here. How long do u thing the FOW checkers game, "Alternate Souls" is gunna last?
i got into this game like the month it died >.< funny enough the reason i took so long was bandai screwed me over so many times with how they handle digimon and battle spirits my thought process was this has been around a long time now and naruto is not close to over it should be safe...
Jutsu's require more thought and setup, because they have a real cost. Traps are just placed down and trigger themselves when requirements are met. I think Yugioh would be much better and less broken if there were more strict attribute restrictions involved with playing the game. It was a decent game at first, but it's grown to be insanely convoluted (not complex, convoluted) and it's a shame to see where it is today, unfortunately, because I love the art and a lot of the card concepts.
Hey dude. Are you going to talk about how the dbz game was compatable with this game? Also, when i post my card game tutorial can you tell me what you think about it?
Dude. i would really appreciate it. I'm almost done my rulebook and I'm shooting my tutorial next month. Also, where are you located at? i would love to join your play group if your not too far
So the thing is, I don't really have a play group anymore. Not in person, anyways XD I do all my testing using online services like tradecardsonline.com nowadays. I'm in California, though
Look for sets called "Tournament Pack." They are made up of the most popular cards from high rated decks with cute artwork, so its a great way to get some of the most popular cards from different points in the game. A set called "The Chosen" is good for that too
Thanks for replying! Does every set have synergy. Like if i just bought a random booster box of a set would a friend and I be able to make decks and play? I noticed some of the sets are really cheap so I was thinking of getting one of them and maybe 2 starter decks or something.
Yes, each set has its own set of mechanics and such, with the exception of the Tournament Packs, which are compilations of popular cards in competitive play
One more thing, you can play the game for free on a site called tradecardsonline.com if you wanna try some stuff out or look through the card sets. I actually stream playing against fans every friday, so you can watch last weeks stream if you wanna see how the site works. If you sign up Yuumagure recommended you! XD
If you go on amazon and get the naruto tcg pack (yes they still sell new packs) then you get the placemat with it, I literally have 3 different placemats cuz I bought 3 whole packs, and my deck is fire so.... Yea... Come at me bro 😂
Thanks for asking! The absolute most important part of a card game is Player Engagement. This means during my turn I want options and choices to make. Games are at their most boring when the game is on autopilot, or turns last too long/not long enough. If I lose, I wanna be able to look back on my match and think about what choices I could have made to put myself in a better spot.
A winner should be clear 20-30 minutes in, or atleast one side should be pretty far ahead. I think the ideal time for a match is 20 minutes, though 30 minutes is acceptable for slower paced strategical games
thank you i got one last request if you have the time can you look over my rule give me your opinion. my game take idea from game like magic pokemon, vanguard and the naruto ccg
OMG i love this game but i used to play this with my brother and he would use Shikamaru and i would always lose. i think you should do more game reviews. and pls do fire emblem. you know you wanna talk about loli dragon.
tfw this comes out as I'm planning a video praising the fuck out of the Buddyfight X launch. Regardless, I can see a lot of the things that'd be great with this game, if I'd had a locals back when it was around. Though, I see that Turn Counter and get turned off just because the whole forced build-up in the early game of card games is probably the element I have the most. I like my games to be like Buddyfight and Dragoborne, no summoning sickness and start me with a decent amount of whatever resource so that the big plays can be happening right out the gate.
Getting back into the rhythm of making consistent content, working on getting a Buddyfight news buddyspoiler.com/ took quite some attention, less so for also getting one up for that other upcoming Bushi game, dragoracle.com/. Alright, done plugging.
I found this video because I looked up why the naruto ccg died and this was the first video and it was the complete opposite of what I expected I pick up 5 decks tonight from a guy who used to judge naruto and he showed me the game and we even played a few games all I can say is I wish this game was still alive. I think I'm going to ask the guy to build me a komono deck next time I see him .
You should, its really fun. I think I have a video up of me playing the deck somewhere, but if you wanna see my version of the deck I'll leave it here. www.tradecardsonline.com/im/showDeck/deck_id/269965/grouping/0/extended_format/true
there's a site called tradecardsonline.com where you can play all kinds of card games online. I have a video about the site on my channel if you wanna learn more. I recommend checking it out
For sure, my name on the site is yuumagure. If you're looking for people to game with, recommend checking out the discord link on my channel page, theres a few people in there that play naruto too, or check out the stream on Fridays if you wanna play live XD
we have been doing fan made digital sets and i will be hosting a 1k tournament in july in chicago u should check outout i also been doing some podcast on it granted my work doesnt look at good as yours lol but nice vid would be kool to do a podcats with you sometime maybe talk about ur fun dayz of naruto
Lol, it really wasn't that different. If a player ends their turn having taken 10 Battle rewards, they are knocked out Players could split their attacks between multiple villages if desired Jutsu's that said "1 Ninja" had to be used against the village that team was fighting Missions, ninjas, and other effects that targeted an opponents field had to target one specific player, not every player Thats about all I remember
The game did not shut down due lack of deck diversity. It was due to sales, which were on the decline to rotation being introduced. Huge mistake by Bandai
@@KudouKun im starting a new channel tonight. Dont have a lot of editing sense to be honest no cpu to use to learn rn but i ran the match on vid with my stylo 5 and we play pokemon tcg, yugioh, dbs card game, as well as naruto
@@KudouKun the first vid will be a match between slightly modified zacian vs zamazenta in that both the sword and sheild decks each have a single zacian and a single zamazenta. Channel is The Temple Tcg

i wont lie i do miss playing naruto ccg although i stopped playing when that "eoj" thing came along. nowadays i just slowly collect the cards.
10:58 that Gaara comin in for the vibe check of a lifetime
Back in 2010, I was a routine guest on Naruto Shippuden Live(the CCG podcast at the time) I was Fayt Susomi in case anyone remembers.
my favorite deck to play was and will be naruto lightning.
inhope you cover fire embl2m!
I wish I got more into it. I know it got popular 4-5 years ago. But it died off real quick I bought two structr decks then.
I was introduced to this game as it was on its way out. The depth of the battle system was fascinating but I never was able to get a deck of my own, and nobody around where I live really played it. Sad panda.
Will be playing this with my friend Mirou. Thank you brother.
Still my favorite CCG, I still build decks, this game needs to come back...come on @Bandai
Ah, I was just unclear if in the case of attacking with a weaker team (via getting Water Prisoned) if you take any damage.
Thanks, it helped.
This looks so dope, I'll love to play if this is revived
Sure, no problem! I can cook something up when I get off of work
So, now that I'm settled in, I'll explain how Susano'o works in the CCG.
If you decide to seriously try and build a deck, lemme know, I'd be more than happy to help!
facebook.com/groups/160517637449990/
Bye them off Amazon
So Kudou, have you played Universal Fighting System? It's one of the few games that does not suffer from game screw as deck construction is such a huge factor in how it's played.
What are some of the better theme decks for getting back into the game for casual play?
If you're looking to just buy a deck for yourself, go for one from Kage Summit, Invasion, or Hero's Ascension. If you're trying to find a set for lots of people to get into, and decks before set 8 might be more fun because they come with side boards.
I wanna play now I mainly play yugioh and pokemon and used to play magic but this seems so fun due to the level of strategic possibility that this has for the same cards
When did reinforcements become a thing?
Hello, I totally agree. The only time your left to the wolf's is in you mill too much. But in MTG you are so reliant on mana, and with Yu-Gi-Oh you have to run your deck with special summons other your just dead. Anyway, im getting back into Naruto CCG and remember the rules and how to play for the most part, but I had a few questions if you would be willing to lend me some of your time. I'd appreciate it so much amigo
Awesome. Hope we can play on tradecardsonline
I doubt this will get a response..but I'm interested in getting into the game, but can't find where to buy the cards online. Specifically looking for a deck or two already made..someone had an Akatsuki deck and that really interested me
People in my discord talk about the game sometimes, recommend asking around there. Invite link on my homepage
Oh. i would love for you to talk about the fire emblem card game.
could you maybe show a bit more things in this game like a few decks or show a couple games (if that's possible ) I'd say yokai watch I already know a bit about final fantasy so
Hey, I have two Ruling questions about the old ccg pre shippuden and hope you or someone else could answer them:
@@KudouKun And what if the material used for my platoon was hurt? Is my platoon hurt too or has coins on it? Does all of this transfer to my platoon?
Bring back naruto i just got 2 trial decks
I love this game just as you do and can agree with every point u said in this video! sadly the game is gone, i would play it again if i only could :(
facebook.com/groups/160517637449990/
I still play the european version which died way earlyer and only consists out of the cards before shippuuden.
its a super fun game. as the cards are the same as the american ones before shippuuden, I d appreciate some deck ideas and combos with the old cards only as I have a giant collection and want to get some decks together to convince my friends to play it lol
PLEASE DO DREAM LEGACY META-MORPHOSIS!
wait theres a final fantasy and fire emblem ccg
You're videos are great! (i wish u had a better camera tho)
*Where there ever any duel engines made for this game?*
You mean like places to play online? There used to be tradecardsonline, but its dead now. I hear Untap has a system you can use to play, but havent tried iot myself
i think they should bring back naruto ccg but call it naruto to boruto ccg and bring boruto characters into it but before that make a 29th set with naruto the last and sage mode madara and the 30th set would be boruto
PLS READ (yokai watch)
facebook.com/groups/160517637449990/
holy shit u called it, theyre making a new boruto naruto ccg coming july
@@itsreign4733 Yea but its a completely different game.
So wait, if I have a Naruto card with 6/0 and I attack and they block with Rock Lee 3/0, I get injured and his Rock Lee is injured? Even though my Naruto is 3 higher
Uhm... No XD I'm not sure what I said in the video to make you think this, but since you're higher in power you don't get injured
It affects both players ninjas. I used to run that deck back in the day too, lol.
OMG, thanks so much for the answer !!, i only play Naruto with my brother right now, hence we argue a lot about some rules, thanks again, now i can destroy all my brother's village ;)
I just wish the cards weren't so flimsy and thin.
Joshowatt you mean like all cards ever?
Cards are literally paper, and paper is flimsy and thin
love this guy. haha. subbing
edit: watched this again with my brother and he died laughing at the sakura example. Poor Sakura.
If you think this game is strategically in depth, you should check out the old WoW tcg. Best card game ever made hands down due to less rng thank most others.pure strategy and it makes you feel like you are leading a platoon (or fighting one solo if that’s how you build your deck) just so many options
i miss this game as well man my snake summoning deck was dumb
If you’re playing classic Naruto, get boosters from “The Chosen.” If you’re playing the latest Naruto, anything from set 19 and up should be fine
alright, thanks for the advice!! When u sa classic naruto u mean not shippuden?
vanili00 Nah, I mean when Naruto first started decks were 40 cards and there was no Reinforcement deck, so the game played very very differently.
Ahh that helps a lot thanks man!! I haven't found a guide on youtube which explains any of this, believe it! hahaha cheers!
Soooooo boruto ccg please??
plebula_ are they saying that they will be connected games?
Hello from the future! The Boruto CCG is here and...it sucks. That is all.
By the way there are many tournaments going on!
*mentions staples and doesn't bring up "Sasuke [Solo Attitude]"*
smh
Dang it kudou now I really want to play this game but I can't
I'd love to see that "Gaara over 9000" deck list sjsjskjssjsj 👌👌👌🤟🤟🤟
Kimono girls sounds alot like the game Flux, ofcourse Flux isn't a dueling card game ...Sounds fun tho ...was Kimono girls ever in the meta?
Wait WHAT Naruto is a wind type tho but no conplantes
do fire emblem, that one seems to be the one i am most interested in.
i got into this game like the month it died >.< funny enough the reason i took so long was bandai screwed me over so many times with how they handle digimon and battle spirits my thought process was this has been around a long time now and naruto is not close to over it should be safe...
"Yugioh - you attack with a higher attack monster and the enemy monster dies" - no? There are trap cards which are similar to jutsus here.
@@ejdavie7733 most good trap cards have costs like LP or somthing
I don't know you, but you are my brother now. How does one buy into bringing this game back?
Rodrigo Alexander Gil the game can be played for free at tradecardsonline.com besides that, probably nothing lol XD
Hey dude. Are you going to talk about how the dbz game was compatable with this game?
Also, when i post my card game tutorial can you tell me what you think about it?
Hahah, I am going to talk about the DBZ version of the game at a future date. And yeah, I'm always down to see another persons tutorial vids!
Dude. i would really appreciate it. I'm almost done my rulebook and I'm shooting my tutorial next month.
Also, where are you located at? i would love to join your play group if your not too far
And yeah. I'm forward to it
So the thing is, I don't really have a play group anymore. Not in person, anyways XD I do all my testing using online services like tradecardsonline.com nowadays. I'm in California, though
Ah. Figures I'm in baltimore. And I gotcha. I never can figure out how to tradecardsonline.com to work
I want to try playing, I'd like to buy a box or something. What set is the best to buy?
Really appreciate all of the help
One more thing, you can play the game for free on a site called tradecardsonline.com if you wanna try some stuff out or look through the card sets. I actually stream playing against fans every friday, so you can watch last weeks stream if you wanna see how the site works. If you sign up Yuumagure recommended you! XD
If you go on amazon and get the naruto tcg pack (yes they still sell new packs) then you get the placemat with it, I literally have 3 different placemats cuz I bought 3 whole packs, and my deck is fire so.... Yea... Come at me bro 😂
Have you played the inuyasha TCG?
I have, actually. In fact I kept a few of the cards from when I used to collect. It was an interesting game for its time
hello i'm in the middle of making a card game of my own and i would like to ask you what do you think all card game need to be good and fun
Thanks for asking! The absolute most important part of a card game is Player Engagement. This means during my turn I want options and choices to make. Games are at their most boring when the game is on autopilot, or turns last too long/not long enough. If I lose, I wanna be able to look back on my match and think about what choices I could have made to put myself in a better spot.
how long do you think a game is too long
A winner should be clear 20-30 minutes in, or atleast one side should be pretty far ahead. I think the ideal time for a match is 20 minutes, though 30 minutes is acceptable for slower paced strategical games
thank you i got one last request if you have the time can you look over
my rule give me your opinion. my game take idea from game like magic pokemon, vanguard and the naruto ccg
XD HOLY COW. SERGE IS ALIVE!?
Always here.
Always watching.
And finally having a camera that isn't dogshit.
Getting back into the rhythm of making consistent content, working on getting a Buddyfight news buddyspoiler.com/ took quite some attention, less so for also getting one up for that other upcoming Bushi game, dragoracle.com/. Alright, done plugging.
Anyone else just collect the Naruto cards to trade with their friends at school?
I found this video because I looked up why the naruto ccg died and this was the first video and it was the complete opposite of what I expected I pick up 5 decks tonight from a guy who used to judge naruto and he showed me the game and we even played a few games all I can say is I wish this game was still alive. I think I'm going to ask the guy to build me a komono deck next time I see him .
You should, its really fun. I think I have a video up of me playing the deck somewhere, but if you wanna see my version of the deck I'll leave it here.

UFS/UNIVERUS is the greatest card game ever created by man
Gimmie your multiplayer rules!
Lol, it really wasn't that different.
If a player ends their turn having taken 10 Battle rewards, they are knocked out
Players could split their attacks between multiple villages if desired
Jutsu's that said "1 Ninja" had to be used against the village that team was fighting
Missions, ninjas, and other effects that targeted an opponents field had to target one specific player, not every player
Thats about all I remember
hmm ok i always struggles trying to make rules but thanks
The game did not shut down due lack of deck diversity. It was due to sales, which were on the decline to rotation being introduced. Huge mistake by Bandai
