I hate that the teachers did not even know his name or anything about him, it’s sad because for all they know Joshua could have been really depressed or suicidal.
there are at least 700 pupils in a school and 40 teachers. For all, you know Joshua could have not had that teacher so he would never know him. Or they teach so many kids they forget about him until they see him. So it's not a bad thing... You are looking at it the worst way possible.

It happens, it’s like me saying “hey who was that kid we met 3 weeks ago called” and you would probably be like “Oh idk can’t remember his/her name” We forget names sometimes it’s just how it is
Tryhardkid If you get in trouble a lot and are pretty much a pain in the back side to the teacher they will 100% remember you... Not for a good reason. But they will remember you. Also don’t get in trouble a lot man. You will seriously regret it in 4 years time when you sit your GCSE’s.

Back when I was in secondary school (4 years ago, Jesus) I was exactly the same as Josh. I was the "quiet" one, no one really bothered me, everyone knew who I was but didn't know anything (if much) about me. Until Year 10 when I decided I wanted to become a Senior Prefect. I had to write a speech and try to make myself stand out. Which I did and I'm glad that I had the confidence to actually push myself to do it. Seeing Joshua win the Head Boy position made me so happy and proud of him. I even cried when he won. I relate a lot to this and it's just nice to see us "quiet" ones get the confidence they want to push themselves through scary times. Congrats Josh, you earned it.
