I loved this movie! A who-dunnit and a romantic movie rolled up into one. Brad James is a great actor who also happens to be quite easy on the eyes. Javicia Leslie did a phenomenal job as well. It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering who did it and how the couple would end up together. Just a feel good story with no cursing, no violence, nothing negative. My kind of movie!

Javicia carried. Her work here was really good. I really liked how this movie turned out.
I actuallt enjoyed this movie so much. Javicia Leslie did an amazing job playing her character like she was bright and inspiring which made her character really stand out and kept me clued to the story. Honsetly I hope they make The Christmas Detective with Javicia an ongoing series because it has the potential to tell a lot more stories & learn many more mysteries. Also, it's very amazing seeing more Black Leads in detective stories, cuz it's really showing that black voices can make a lot of differences in the thriller and mystery genre.
