Plasma cutter is a neat tool. I appreciate the way you demonstrated its usage in liberating those numbers from the metal that imprisoned them. Thanks for showing your art..think I'll investigate this Cal Lane :-)
Ontario checkin in. Just enjoin a cold Canadian here and came across your channel...nice cool project man, I like that "lace" effect. That looks pretty cool. Subscribed now. Thanks and keeper up. -Pidge
That was really interesting so thank you. I think the techniques to box in those numbers would have been interesting too - more basic skills I know but interesting nevertheless. Cheers and thanks.
I want to make these for my front yard but fill them with blue dragon glass and seal them shut. Then I would place them in the round mulch bed of the tree in my front yard. The blue glass and metal should "pop" nicely with black mulch. But then again red and black sounds good to.
At the end of the vid your said your weren't sure if u were going to paint them or leave them as they were an just seal them.... what do u use to just seal them?I want to get the natural metal look on a project of mine
you got quite a hand with that plasma cutter, must have alot of hours on it.. been debating getting one but keep talking myself out of it.. getting by with my O/A and a fleet of angle grinders
Hello Nice numbers. Could you post the name of the metal artist you mentioned in this video? I am not sure I heard it correctly as I cannot find her work Thanks
I love it! I just moved to a new home and my house number is 816, haha! Maybe I could commission you to make me a set just like yours! You already have the "8" and "1" template made and you're turned out awesome! What would you charge to make "816"?
nice work!!! as a welder i can say that you make this look a lot easier than it really is. you are a true craftsman. what kind of plasma cutter is that? it cuts so nice and clean.
Very nice work. I just bought a plasma cutter and looking to have some fun and came across your videos.. your very talented. I do mostly woodworking but expanding my horizons. One quick question. How thick of metal were you using to cut the numbers out of? My plasma cutter is a 50 amp 220 set up so I think I should be good for whatever thickness they might be. Thanks. Brian
+Brian Stevens it was 1/8 thick, mainly because it doesn't warp as much when you cut lots of holes in it. Your cutter will be more than enough for that stuff.
Go Jets. ! This year the Wild look like they might do something... but we aren't holding our breath just yet.. come down and I will take you to a game...
I am a signwriter in Melbourne Australia, I so appreciate this stuff you do, well done, it looks fantastic.
+Brad Lloyd thanks! Cheers from Canada!

That's some solid house numbers right there, neat effect.
That lace pattern look great!
Sick the way you did by hand with the plasma.
Nice.
You should put LED lights inside and hide the wiring. Nice work.
and Bluetooth too :D
They look great. Add some Led Lighting inside.

Backlighting those numbers would look really cool.
Looks amazing, love the lace pattern you did on them at the end, really finished them off

Sweet work! Only if some flames could shoot out of them when someone rings your doorbell.
I would need them to. That would keep the wasps out of them.
Very Cool, I haven't seen anything like it.
Really nice work! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, they look great! Good work!
awesome dude i'll try that!
Awesome job
yes, really nice job, I recently moved to a new house and made a house sign with name and number.
You should do this again but fill them with colored resin.
Nice, very striking appearance!
Cool project. Great creativity. Impossible to watch without the sound muted. PLEASE!!! . . . no more jingle bells!!!!!
Awesome work ... it inspires me for sure !

Nice work
Very nice. What did you use to bend the metal you used for the sides?
Amazing! How do you bent the metal around the numbers? That would be a good DIY video for people new to metal work.
did you have your eyes closed throughout the video or??
I agree - would love to know more about bending metal to box in. Awesome video - thanks!
At the end of the vid your said your weren't sure if u were going to paint them or leave them as they were an just seal them.... what do u use to just seal them?I want to get the natural metal look on a project of mine
Very original! Thanks for sharing!
Cool idea ,well made!!! you could add some color changing flexible Ledstrips
with adhesive back to illuminate from inside .(just a suggestion)
Oh,what was the name of the metal artist? Sry,i m little bit deaf ;)

oh! Incredible work! Great! Fantastic! Hi from Spain, and thanks, i like so much this WONDERFUL IDea
flip flops in the shop gotta love it
its exfoliating :)
+REDNIC79 especially when the welding cherries start droppin
i only flip flop for the wood part, so sharp saws can only fall on my feet, not hot metal :)
you got quite a hand with that plasma cutter, must have alot of hours on it.. been debating getting one but keep talking myself out of it.. getting by with my O/A and a fleet of angle grinders
Nicely done

How come you didn't put a link to Lane?
Is it too complicated for you to find her?
@@thrashingpanic it is hard for me, English is not my first language. Not sure is Karlo Lane, Call Lane, Cod Lane. I just don't get her name right.
nice work!!! as a welder i can say that you make this look a lot easier than it really is. you are a true craftsman. what kind of plasma cutter is that? it cuts so nice and clean.
+MrCoffeekelly thanks, Miller spectrum375
I'd like to know what type of ground clamp is that, please?
Neiva Mejia it's just a magnetic ground. they can be pretty handy. but I believe you can actually pick one up at harbor freight
Now all we need to do is make a list of all houses with a street number of 831 in Canada then visit them one at a time....
Guy loves his pork shirts. Nice vid

@@REDNIC79 did you get the name of the plasma cutter yet? I was wondering as well.
Wow! how many times did it take to you?

Excellent Job man! Nice and clean. BTW whats the name of the artist you mentioned?
