i see some folks guard their launch spots with their dear life, and i'm not even talkin bout their honey holes.... very helpful and refreshing you share different options to launch a kayak in your video
North Deer Island has 1.7 miles of protected shoreline which supports nesting habitat for the threatened Reddish Egret and 16 other bird species. So be careful and give space during breeding season.
@@GoYaking it most certainly will. I normally prefer sabine because galveston gets too much pressure. Ever consider a ruberized net? I saw that net you had frequently got caught on stuff (like the trout teeth).
To be honest with you, I’m pretty frugal so I try not to replace thing that aren’t broken. I had my net since 2006 with my very first kayak. It still does the trick for the moment. A lot of people said that about Galveston, but it’s lot closer for me, plus I alway seem to find fish when I go out, so I tend to fish it more. I just like to explore as much as I can.
First time watching your vids and just Subscribed. Sorry for your loss. 2020 was a trying year for our family too. When my Dad was Diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, as the lockdowns were happening. He finished his Chemo in Jan. We are hoping, that his next appointment in April he is Cancer Free. But sweet trout man.
Thank for watching and subscribing! Prayer for your dad, I hope he get better! Strong mental health is also key to recovery, so please spend as much time with him as possible. Fish on!
@@joeross952 lower and mid coast suffered some loss, mainly trout. Here in Galveston doesn’t look bad. We got deeper water and most of them were already there to begin with. Should be ok I hope.
Yes give it a shot, pay attention to the temperature. Fish the deeper water bordering the ICW too, toward the reef. Been noticing trout in deeper column lately.
Yes sir, I didn’t realize that was captured in the video. Will make you a quick video this weekend to show you my DIY dolly. Super cheap and easy to use.
Most of my time is tending to family need as of late. But honestly, mostly due to how much crap I received from people for sharing fishing spot. I recorded these video for fun and to share with the community so people can be more motivated to go out, but it hasn’t been that way. Lot of hate messages and threat so I stop. I like it peaceful.
@GoYaking I had just found your channel, and I thought it was really good, especially when you share what we all know is public spaces, but again, people think they own everything! I personally don't want to have a lot of people around when I fish (somehow I'm a strong magnet, lol), but it doesn't give me the right to take it against others. The hate comments are something that comes with creating a YT channel, and it's really loosers full of envy! Well, take care, and I know family time is precious, so enjoy it.
@@GoYaking rxangler started those videos with spots and he still does them. he even has a dedicated playlist..I’m sure you have seen it based on the videos you are making and how they look exactly like what he is doing. not hating, just stating the obvious. there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel I guess.
Hmmm I watch his stuff before, they are not even close to the same, and they not even the same area but you got your own opinion, and I will respect that. I make these content for myself and everyone else who alway asked me where to go. As a consumer, you should be glad to have more choices. On top of that, don’t compare me to him, he is a much better fisherman than me. Please watch him exclusively.

Way to go, sir!!! Bravo 👏 on CPR, was excited for both you and that trout!!!! Very nice....
I wish I had someone to take me a picture, this one going into memory lane until the next big one.
I guess I am quite randomly asking but do anybody know of a good website to watch newly released movies online ?
@Angel Sebastian I would suggest Flixzone. Just google for it =)
