There was so much Robron yesterday, it nearly felt like an early Christmas present! And the writers are finally starting to redeem Robert too, YAY! He was so nice to both Aaron and Chrissie. He actually does have a heart in there :)
The whining and delusions from Chrissie and Lachlan never seems to get any better. Chrissie went out of her way to antagonize Robert after he was out of his coma and NOW she's shocked that he might not be friendly at the trial? Lachlan never liked Robert, never made a pretense that he did, but NOW he's trying to act like Robert was part of their happy home and hurt their fee-fees? I think my favorite line is "I've never hated anyone so much." Considering what he did to the women he "liked," maybe he should hate people more often. Why can't they ever stop writing these two as professional victims?
+Frank Harker I didn´t see Chrissie shoked about the possibility Robert wouldn´t be friendly though? Were did you see that? If anything she understood it was to be expected. Lachlan can be all the things you want (and he is) but he didn´t lie here. Robert played with them like fools. He is asking to save his mum. Don´t find that weird or anything.
sanyrub Every time he says that he accepted Robert into the family and wanted them to be happy, it's a lie to me, because at the time, he wanted nothing to do with Robert. Robert didn't want anything to do with him either, but even if he had, Lachlan wasn't interested. Chrissie seemed bewildered and shocked to me - not once did she ever mention her recent history with Robert (the restraining order and the hospital) and instead just had this odd tone that gave me the impression she thought Robert was for no apparent reason going to persecute her, even though nothing in their relationship had ever given any suggestion he would (he'd tried to keep her sweet for a reconciliation or to make sure he stayed in the company). It just made no sense to me, but that's Chrissie for you - I remember she was flabbergasted that some villagers were upset with her for attacking Alicia.
I dislike Lachlan immensely and he's a deranged brat of the highest order but I do think that he was okay with Robert being his step-dad, perhaps not to the point of accepting him as a surrogate father but as far as acknowledging that he was there and tried to be fatherly towards him(when it suited Robert to be) and he made Chrissie happy(at first). Honestly, I do think Robert is trying not to be the monster everyone thinks he is right now but after what Chrissie said/did in the hospital, I wouldn't blame him if he tried to get some petty payback. He won't but I wouldn't blame him if he did. In the midst of thumbing their noses at him, they all seem to keep forgetting that none of them are actually innocent.
who is this crass woman in the dressing gown who can't help put her foot in it? I take it Lachy isn't too chuffed about granddad getting together with Berneice? What's he in court for anyway? I've forgotten what with everything else. I should think the police need to open a station in Emmerdale and the Min of Justice a courthouse. Seems like the most lawless place in the country.
Lachlan cares about Robert a but I think despite it all coz of what he would of been to lachlan same with Robert he cares about lachlan a bit coz of what chrissie meant to him despite all the mixed messages
Loving the amount of screen-time Aaron's getting recently :D

Thomas Atkinson is a great actor for his age...it's amazing
Aaron so damn hot in black.
As much as I hate Lachlan, his little speech to Rob was impressive and 100% true.
Yes, absolutely
Is chrissie forgetting that from the start Robert tried to convince the courts that chrissie was innocent and was helping her despite everything.
I realy don't like lachlan... He is a psyco, but .... This Family is realy wird.... He turnd out, just like they made him!
Lachlan really needs to stop being nosey and listening in on people's conversations!

Frank Harker It made sense to me but it´s all well :)

oh sorry Lachlan, I made my comment without watching the entire clip, I just assumed it was you going to court lol
When I was watching it in Kent then in 2015 it was purple sky at night then
The last minutes it’s the only time that I liked Lachlan...I can’t even believe I do lol
Can never understand why Lachlan has always been so convinced that his mum didn't love him
Ridiculous
Aaron it was the sitch with you in prison and all leading from Robert that caused all this sweetie.
+elleran1969 ...but he didn't do it. He didn't cause anything. Andy's the one who got Ross to shoot Robert, everything that happened is on THEM.
