+Luise Britta Yeah you'd think they would realize she needs to be in a hospital and probably on suicide watch. She's obviously nowhere near ok. But this is tv.
+Luise Britta She went it alone. Cain shouldn't have tried to get her out of the country, he should have accompanied her to the police. He would at the least been able to have her put under some sort of watch until the morning.
michael7572 Yeah, Cain's instincts in situations like this don't serve anyone well. He automatically thinks "I can fix this" and "It's us against the authorities (especially the police)." He doesn't think in terms of "She did this in mistaken self-defense. What would an innocent person do next?" Obviously, that would not be flee the country.
alwaysuseless Watch the entire episodes if you aren't already. Diane will forgive her and no charges will be pressed. But that's Cain's standard line...I'll fix this. That probably will never change.
When Chas broke down at 1.57 and pleaded with DS Hart to tell her if Diane was still alive, my heart went out to her. Lucy's Pargeter's performance throughout the entire episode was incredible.
well at least Chas has done the right thing which considering her mental state is a huge shock. Obvs the script writers thought 'what's the most unlikely thing to happen that the viewers would never guess?'. I can see someone in a regular state of mind panicking, running off and then returning when the full horror hits them but Chas in that state? I sure hope this brings Robert & Aaron closer somehow.
Poor Chaz! When I saw her crying those crocodile tears it made me cry. I hope they see how sick she's been and how paranoid she's been all this time ever since Aaron's been in jail until now. When Diane dropped that wine glass on the floor it woke Chaz up suddenly and she was scared and took the knife with in order to protect herself. She stabbed Diane because she thought someone was trying to kill. It was all an accident. Thanks for all your wonderful work sweetie.
+Ken Lal The thing is Ken how are they going to establish and prove that that was the case. In a matter of PTSD, is that enough to get the off the hook?
I know that regular police officers lack sensitivity training but even a blind man could see that Chas was an emotional wreck. Regardless of whether they thought it was because she'd stabbed someone, she still should've been referred for a psych evaluation. I suppose forming a revenge club is as good a way as any for the Sugden brothers to come together.
Victoria try to jump in anyone mounth she can and make thing wosre, her stupid and good will make a perfect annoying! ...and I'm glad Chad came back and said the trust...
Robert is back......he will try to protect Andy.....and when he finds out Chas did it.......I wonder if he will try to console Aaron??????or wait and see if Aaron tries to contact him for help with his mother??????
+alwaysuseless Not so sure. Chas in the slammer, Paddy dealing with his love life, Aaron alone and vulnerable. Couple of pints combined with Rob showing up at the right moment and things will soon get heated between them.
Biljana Ć. For now, things getting heated between Aaron and Robert would mean Aaron's fist in Robert's face. Although I'm here primarily because of Aaron, from a wider perspective what's happening here that's more noteworthy is between the brothers Robert & Andy.
she was wow not going to talk about this anymore because your wrong she was sleepwalking watch emmerdale videos see what they call it what she was doing :p
We're supposed to believe that Chas is in such a state that she can't say: "It was dark. I thought it was the person who's been breaking in and stalking me, and I stabbed them." No, all she can say is that she did it. At least Chas didn't end up sleep-swimming to Ireland. So how long will this state Chas is in and her sense of guilt continue to trump any normal survival instinct? Does the police reciting Chas' rights while Chas is going on & on louder than the recitation and obviously not listening actually count as reading someone their rights? Meanwhile, no matter what happens, Victoria continues to win the prize for most annoying, self-righteous know-it-all.
+alwaysuseless Victoria has been insufferable for months. Let them be, they don´t like each other, let them live separately. And also, stop accusing everybody all the time, she´s always so blind. She´s not called "Thicktoria" for nothing :)
sanyrub Not to worry. We're friends. I thought it was funny how "Stop accusing" came out. Besides, although probably not relevant in this case, the NSA and I know your first language starts with an e, and isn't English (accurate but deliberately misleading). ;-)
When Robert got shot there was like only one cop car in the village.. Diane gets stabbed and there's even a helicopter lmao
It’s because someone was missing aswell
I guess they have a priority
lucy has to be one one the best actress in emmerdale. Acting out the mental state she's in is giving me goosebumps
I'm so damn proud of the actress who played Chaz. Brilliant acting!
“The last thing they’re gonna see is me and you” 😍😍😍 he makes everything 🔥
Poor Chas damn it! When she confessed crying like that... One more good actress in the show btw. ED always on a roll and with great scenes.
this is one of the few soaps that has some amazing acting. pretty much all of the cast can do an amazing job
Why do none of the police notice that chaz needs medical help? That she is on the verge of a panic attack?
+Luise Britta Yeah you'd think they would realize she needs to be in a hospital and probably on suicide watch. She's obviously nowhere near ok. But this is tv.
+Luise Britta All they want to know is "who done it." Psychology, mental state, medical attention, being observant or human-not their department.

Sugden bros gonna bond over this i think, loved seeing both the families together supporting their own. Great acting from Lucy. She deserves an award.
+livesyyy18 Probably cause they are trained to look for criminals and not people who are suffering from a mental disorder...
+Chester Dikkie don't see how this correlates with what i just said
Sorry this was not the comment I was responding to

This family is something else, but they hate on Robert for being the way he is. 😂😂
I Love, that Robert cares so much.

Oh wow just as I was saying that I'd live for the day when someone actually owns up to their crime on Emmerdale haha

thank you for the subtitles, they're very useful. Aaron and Robert #forever
Robert is back......he will try to protect Andy.....and when he finds out Chas did it.......I wonder if he will try to console Aaron??????or wait and see if Aaron tries to contact him for help with his mother??????
+tom swift I like your way of thinking
+tom swift I'm glad to see Ryan get some camera time, but Robert seems pretty irrelevant to this turn of events, Chas' stabbing Diane.
+alwaysuseless Not so sure. Chas in the slammer, Paddy dealing with his love life, Aaron alone and vulnerable. Couple of pints combined with Rob showing up at the right moment and things will soon get heated between them.

There so nice and understanding at the station for chas it's nice it makes a change usually they woukd be nasty even to someone in that state
oh poor love

sanyrub Of course, you mean Victoria needs to stop accusing everybody all the time.
alwaysuseless Yes yes Victoria lol Not you sorry. I didn´t realize the way I worded that sentence could be misleading :)
***** LOL I think it really suits her.
sanyrub Not to worry. We're friends. I thought it was funny how "Stop accusing" came out. Besides, although probably not relevant in this case, the NSA and I know your first language starts with an e, and isn't English (accurate but deliberately misleading). ;-)
Poor Chas.
Does anyone care about Diane? Everyone is worried about Chas, I get she's not well but what about Diane? She could die, do the Dingles even care?
The Sugden brothers having an intense conversation and all I can think about is how much I love Robert's freckles.
