I love how this story evolved from obsession to pure adult love. One of the best stories written. Danny's growth was well written and both Michelle's were amazing in their own way.
It's the "I lied" that really pulls my heart! Danny/PAS's delivery of the confession is emotionally powerful! Danny returns..grabs Michelle's hand..kisses her..."I lied"...professes how he'll never stop being in love with her and not able to live without her...THE KISS *tears of joy for me* Danny and Michelle have both said "I don't want to love you anymore" and "I lied" at one point or another! Manny is probably GL's most well-written and powerful love story of the 90's/2000's!
I got chills when Danny put his hand on Michelle's hand. I haven't watched them in years, but it brought so many of the memories back of watching the two of them. The storyline was amazing. Thank you for posting this.
The only time I was ever disappointed in Danny is when he said his life with Marina was “Simple and Easy”. Two key words that Michelle always craved for in their relationship but Danny never gave it to her because HE wouldn’t leave his family business/crimes behind.
I think he meant the moment when michelle left for Africa just after tony's death. She told him to go back to marina... she was so was confused she has just regained her memory and her feelings for danny...

AMEN! This part of the writing was annoying. Danny was acting like Michelle was the cause of all the drama. Glad he snapped out of it.
