I love every time Danny calls Michelle on something and calls her Missy. I just love when they play that age difference & I love how they continue to trust & love each other.
This is one of my favorite Manny fights after they were married, it comes out of hurt & they both end accepting each other. Danny wants to believe in Carmen so much, and she lets him down every time. 1 thing they never recaptured when they switched Michelles was the way she could always see through Carmen. Danny always takes on guilt that he doesn't deserve. I still think that stupid family role thing came from Carmen not Miguel. "Don't ever apologize for telling me what you're feeling."
@@laminage Watching it back all these years later, I completely agree with you. NSA was great, but the chemistry between PAS & BJL was something you could feel…even now…these scenes never get old, no matter how many times I watch them.
Danny kind of reminds me of Alan-Michael and Phillip Spaulding here in terms of the blind support and love of a parent that doesn't deserve it. Alan wasn't as evil as Carmen but he used and manipulated both of his sons time and again and regardless of that, Phillip and Alan-Michael always went right back for more; Just like Danny has done with Carmen since Mick's death.
Danny there are none so blind as those who refuse to see. You had to face some hard facts. Your Brother Mick was a Bad Seed and you shouldn't feel guilty because you couldn't change him for the better, he himself had to do that. Also Danny has a lot of guilt. If Michelle hadn't "killed" Mick, maybe he and Michelle wouldn't have married and Danny had to face facts that their Marriage was based more on "Protection" than having a Solid Foundation. As for Carmen, Danny shouldn't defend her. For a long time, she referred to Michelle as "That Bauer Girl" or "That Girl". She never accepted, liked or forgave Michelle she even tried to have Michelle killed when Danny left. She was just a mean selfish lady who put Mick on a Pedestal because he was her Ticket to the Santos Kingdom.
Michelle could have said "The Men in My Family weren't exactly saints but there's the difference, they owned up to their mistakes your mother never did, she's obsessed with wtning me to pay because she knew deep in her heart that someone would have hurt Mick considering all of the bad behavior he did. Yet why was Mick so bad in the First Place?
You should check out the complicated Relationship that James Nightingale (A Lawyer) on Hollyoaks had with his Mother Marnie. She allowed his Father Mac to whip him to purge his sexual preferences (he's Gay). As a Teenager he hired a Hooker to make a Man out of him. UK Soaps have some really sick and sad Mother/Son Relationships. Kim Tate/Jamie Tate Emmerdale, Kathy Beale/Ian Beale EastEnders who can't seen to remove The Apron Strings. All of his Wives were Blond like Mum. Cindy died in Prison, Laura died after falling down the Stairs, Mel stood him up on his Wedding Day, and Jane left him after being blackmailed.

I love Danny's rage.
Manny is SUPERCOUPLE GOALS!
Poor Danny. Still believing the best of his Momma. After Drew's testimony she wanted to kill both Drew and Michelle still.

I take nothing away from Nancy St. Alban but I felt that the Chemistry Paul Anthony Stewart had with Bethany Joy Lenz was stronger.
