Sainte-Catherine Street - From West to East
Saint Catherine Street (officially in French: rue Sainte-Catherine) is the primary commercial artery of Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It crosses the central business district from west to east

Never been to Montreal but I love how it looks here: modern and old, French and North American, it’s an interesting mix. Definetly smaller and less dense than New York, but not a small town but any means. Now I want to visit !
after all this lockdown thing obviously but you need to visit
Montreal in the summer. Nothing beats it.
100%
100% . Ive been to most corners of the world and agree. it really is the best
Montreal is so beautiful.
Yes, especially during summer with the festivals!
Warsaw in Poland is nicer.
fond memories of living in this city, the winters totally suck, though.
GSXR 750 Montreal is also nice during winter couple of winter activities to do as well. But yes Montreal is nicer during summer (more activities and festivals) Cheers!
Haven't been to Montreal in years . God has it changed. Love the big chess board right in the middle of the street at Complex Desjardins . God willing , hoping to visit October 23-26 for a Canadiens game . This video is wicked awesome
Jo Ann Lawery Thank you!! glad you enjoyed the walk!
yes i'm from madagascar and i was there in 2008. nice town
I spent one week there Sept. 2020. We had an awesome time. Excellent food, nice people. Would definitely leave Toronto and move there.
With the current norm of self isolation, it brings me comfort to see a bustling Montreal during the summer. I miss it so much.
And so many US stores on Ste. Catherine's-Forever 21, GNC, Old Navy, Gap, Starbucks, etc. I believe that this is a different world altogether. I really have to come back there soon.
U realize canada and America have almost the same stores right. It’s a similar society. Not like canada is Sweden or something
I love Montreal lived here all my life . I enjoy visiting Toronto too.
What's the best place to visit in Montreal concerning like music culture? Also, are you familiar with the DJ/Artist Kaytranada from there?
Was there in the early nineties, just how I remember it. Looks to have more stores now and a bit more crowded.
Loco Moco more skyscrapers too
Montreal has something special 🇨🇦😍🇨🇦
Potholes and highway cones.
@@AllRequired hahahaha you're right
What a great video, that stabilizer works great! I enjoyed the walk with you, thank you!
Thank you, I Appreciate it, YES the stabilizer is really good! :))

God bless u all
I don't think you are coming anyway. Thanks to covid19 🥵🥵
@@saleh11dd do you know when it will be possible to visit mtl ?
@@princemoon363 it depends on the government and when they will decide to reopen again but from what I am have seeing in the city they need at least one or two months to return everything to normal .
@@princemoon363 2022
@@alex0589 2022 ??? Thats a little too extream
I am from India,,,just I visited Montreal QC Canada,,,I love Montreal 🇨🇦🍁🥑
I have been home sick for this beautiful city. If it wasn't for my language issue, I would have stayed in Montreal and spend the rest of my life. Miss strolling down St. Catherine and Plateau Mont Royal area on many Friday afternoons...
LJ Na the city certainly has some great sights-which I’m happy to showcase. Glad that the video has brought back those memories!
Lear french moron
Marco Polo French is a hard language to learn
@@marcopolo2395 With three spelling and grammatical errors in just three words, I suggest to you, "Learn English moron".
So so many wonderful and not wonderful memories ah my hometown of Montreal can't live without it

Didn't expect Montreal to be sooooo packed with people!
This is two and a half years ago. Look at it now and you'll see a ghetto.
And tons of highway cones.

So nice! I like it.
An amazing walking tour.
Merci . . . Que de bonheur . . .
what a populous place. Amazing!
So nice.
So Proud to live Here!
Very welcoming city
Pretty quality, subbed
Could've been much better if the camera was pointed a bit more downwards.
That framing would have meant the sidewalk was a full third of the composition, leaving out more of the context of the sides and tops of many buildings, and a directly forward-facing camera/lens/phone can make some people feel uncomfortable that you are specifically filming them. This does feel a bit like the viewer's neck is uncomfortably tilted back, but it makes sense for a 'tour' video that isn't the tunnel vision of what actually walking down the street feels like.
C'est super sympa!
Hope to go there someday..thanks for your good channel:)
Maryam Khademi Glad you liked it!!
Montreal, reminds me of Detroit, with those big boulevard intersection avenues.
a Montreal-assigned administrator is, after all, the instrumental one at bringing Détroit's creation into existence.. . . .
by the way, sod city centres ;) ruclips.net/video/StNJrKaQ6Oc/видео.html 🍸
btw, you're implying Detroit's Salt Lake City'esque boulevard breadths as very characteristically..islandishy..?
Can you make a video walking around Marymount Academy or côte Saint Luc Rd because I’m prolly going to move to that school next year and I’ve never even been to Montreal before so your videos really help:)
Thanks for reaching, I Will do it on a sunny day for you with pleasure :) Cheers!
CityTours Thanks!!

Is it like Chinatown?
Vesna No it’s downtown, you can check chinatown here : ruclips.net/video/TT19sacDfms/видео.html
This is my next stop
Used to live there. Would have been good for people who have not been to know some of the locations, such as at the beginning left side one of the many buildings of Concordia university. Or that across from Burger King was the main Henry Birk's retail store, or that the Bay used to be an independent store called Morgan's.
Ste Catherine used to be a 2 way street with street cars.
Vancouver city is very nice city
Thats good
Awwww I live here❤
Is it 4K true?
Bonjour, Hi!
9:36 Building like in "Stalin empire style" in Moscow 😉
Before.me live montreal 3 years toronto 3years.vancouver 5 years.
I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. I'm so sorry for Canada. Canadian and Canadian Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe or the United States. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian-Indonesian or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beach. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country. I wish the respectable people of Canada would wake up
I will wish coming Monreal. Please help me
And they were roommates
Well cause of the Side walk sales, would be better to not live close.
Hii
But Vancouver is best city.no so cold la Keely.
Anyone from cdi college???
Corporate & almost no local. 🙄
actually the video is not so realist because when you live in montreal you see a shitload of orange cone detour and construction sites
Montreal is not a real city o a real island or Canada a real country.
Downtown is from the Neighbor hood well the central one,the Ghetto.
It s quiet when it s quiet, well lot mo then this, depend how you living.
What is missing is all the orange construction cones and closed roads and potholes. What about all the street beggars
Toronto is better
Not vast among of black people live there not highly populated with them like the US and the UK
