    So Peptic Ulcer disease has nothing to do with excessive exposure to high stress? 🤔
    That's what my Gastrologist wrote stress as a contributing factor "weakened" immune system from the stress actually. I had to go on medical leave mine was so bad.
    Good news is, a 2nd scoping months later of rest and proper medications have shown significant improvements.

    • @michaelandrews4783
      @michaelandrews4783 8 месяцев назад +6

      usually Helicobacter pylori is the cause a nobel prize was won for discovering this , stress plays a factor in the sense that like any infection stress makes you more suseptible to it as it weakens your immune system.

      At age 13 I was diagnosed by my Dr he said I have an ulcer which was caused by H. Pylori Bacteria. He said he'll give me a shot of Penicillin and it'll get rid of the H. Pylori Bacteria in a few minutes. I was in such pain that I didn't believe him but from from the time he gave me the Penicillin shot to the time I got home which was about 15 minutes my pain was gone and so was my ulcer. I've never had any ulcer or pain since. I believe this is hereditary too because my granddaughter was just diagnosed with this and my friend's grandson was diagnosed recently with this too and my friend also was diagnosed with this recently.

    I wrote lyrics for Bruce Springsteen from the time I was fifteen years old starting in 1974. He made millions of dollars off songs I wrote and he's never paid me one red cent. One-time Steven gave me 8 tickets to watch them work at an. Amnesty International concert at the Oakland Coliseum September 23rd 1988. The reason Bruce Springsteen has ulcers is because he takes other people's songs and puts his name on them. He promises to pay if he uses them depending on how good they are. Then he welch's on his agreement. Bruce has spent his whole life worrying that the world is going to find out. Somebody tell Bruce to get ahold of me and pay me. I no longer live in Sonoma California I live in Glen Ellen California. They had no trouble finding me when they needed lyrics. My mom and my friends and my sisters want to know what's wrong with Bruce Springsteen?

      Because life & medicine is complicated & Mike Hansen understands both the medicine & the complication that can get us in trouble.
      He tries & succeeds in explaining these complicated situations with excellent visual aids & clear concise language. Example: i have chronic back pain that can be reduced with either Tylenol or NSAID drugs like Ibuprofen, BUT either of them, taken to excess can cause other problems, so we must be aware of those issues & avoid using either drug exclusively, or we might cause another problem like chronic stomach ulcers in ourselves. Complicated, right? Welcome to the real world.
      Solution? See a good doctor & get knowledgeable help.
