How far did you make it in Summer of Pain? Any good openings?
I sadly can’t do summer of pain because I’m not throne breaker and it looks like SOP is very painful
I only beat two bosses but with that 10K shards I got Sym Supreme so pretty cool after all 🙌🏻
Prof X and not sure if I'd do SOP or initially complete 7.2 instead
You didn't get Lags blessing. Also I got my first Doom above 4 star. He will be my first decent 6 star and he's going straight to rank 3 as soon as the gold event hits.
Got a 6* Nexus and had. Archangel, Hit monkey or first dupe on my Corvus. I choose Archangel
8:20 is when you can see Brian's soul leave his body from the pain of Venompool being the best champion out of the 6* Nexus...

Such a massive event, with so many steps and commitment to complete, and at the end, after you've done everything, the good old RNG transform what would've been a celebration moment into a loss, could Kabam celebrate it's playerbase letting those who complete this massive event choose one single champ without RNG involved? yeah they could, would this break the game? no. and yet here we are.
Yeah, all of that hard work and time just to leave it to RNG from the 6* basic pool doesn’t seem that worth it

I had Maw, Jugs and Guillotine for my nexus crystal. Already had Guillotine duped so i went with Maw. The nexus really was the summer of pain for me.

got archangel from my first 6* nexus. but from sop i got elsa bloodstone as my best option. not to bad tho. she's usefull
they should do a poll for everyone who beat SOP. each person gets to vote for 15 champs. the 15 most voted champs are then put into a featured 6 star nexus crystal which is given as the reward for beating the challenge.
VTD I liked him so much I maxed the 5*.
Kabam thinks I still like him so I pulled 3 times as 6*.
As always rng makes all the hard work worth it

Might I suggest mutant next time, 5 prestige bangers in the top 20…namor, sunspot, prof x, stryfe, and apocalypse. All much better than silver surfer.

I was thinking of trying to do the final week of summer of pain, but after what I got after my cosmic nexus, I immediately said screw it, not worth my time or stress.
SoP was, in the end, actual pain for me. Such bad luck 😭
You're not alone 😂. I'm not doing it, I didn't like what I got and it didn't motivate me to want to even do the initial completion of the final SoP.

I went Science Nexus looking for HT and got Ant-Man, Joe Fixit, & Luckily Mister Fantastic. I mean for that 3rd champ if Rhino or Og Cap popped up I probably would have quit the game for a while.
