    Without going out of the way to buy a new CCTV DVR with more ports, this is a cheap solution although a bit messy because of all the cables and additional router.
    Thanks for the video.

    I have problem with this setup. I have MISECU 8CH NVR 4K. I am using Tenda TEF1105P-4-63W POE switch that is linked with NVR. Misecu NVR UI looks the same as on your video. I assume you have the same NVR, just 4CH version. What could be the problem that my cameras that are connected to the same port (2+) are constantly disconnecting and connecting again. Is it enev possible to connect multiple cameras on 1 NVR LAN port?

      Our NVR is different from yours. The problem might be caused by IP address conflicts. Ensure that each camera has a unique IP address to avoid conflicts that can cause disconnections. You can assign individual IP addresses to each camera and then manually add each camera to the NVR.
      It doesn't work, please consult the manufacturer or reseller for further problem diagnosis.

    Good day sir, may I know your nvr brand/details and what camera is compatible? Thanks in advance.

      It depends on how the hardware is designed. Some NVR could take in more than 4 IP cameras. Usually, you should have this information from the specfiication.

    Is there a method to add wifi cameras to an existing 4 channel wifi system?

    • @Fastcabling
      @Fastcabling  Год назад

      It is vendor specific. Most Wi-Fi NVR doesn’t accept the camera from local network because NVR might use different subnet to manage the cameras.

    Hi what brand of NVR do you uSe here becauSe otherS didn't add more channel

    • @Fastcabling

      You can check the channel setting of your PoE NVR. If there are additional channel, you can enable it to add more cameras.

    • @Fastcabling

      It depends on the model of your NVR. Some PoE NVR can take in more IP cameras than the number of the PoE ports. You might look into the specification of the NVR.

    Hi, how do I know if my 4 channel NVR can add additional IP Camera? I thought 4 Channel means for 4 cameras only?

    • @Fastcabling
      @Fastcabling  Год назад +2

      You might look into the NVR configuration and see whether it has extra channel you can activate on or not. Not all the PoE NVR has additional channels.

      @Fastcabling  Год назад

      The datasheet specifies 8 IP cameras. I guess you can't add more than 8 cameras. It is not about the PoE ports.

    how about on DVR which is not in network and the vendor is Hikvision does it have extra adds on 8channel dvr

    • @Fastcabling
      @Fastcabling  Год назад

      The DVR has fixed input. Usually you can verify the input through the BNC input at the rear of the DVR. If it is the hybrid DVR, you might look into the channel setting in the menu to figure out whether it accpets IP cameras as input.

    How to Hikvision it work

    • @Fastcabling
      @Fastcabling  3 месяца назад

      If your Hikvision NVR doesn't support extra channels beyond its built-in capacity, then it will work. This method works when your NVR supports additional channels but doesn't have enough PoE ports.

    can you do this just with network switch??? you guys are doing the same damn video , nobody thinking outside the box. try with router and network switch

    • @Fastcabling
      @Fastcabling  Год назад +1

      The network switch doesn’t have power source for PoE ip camera. It will not work if you connect PoE camera to the switch. Adding PoE injector after the network switch can provide turn your network switch to PoE compatible.
