      Oh cant wait to see that video! Yeah there are some interesting SII structures. Do you want my master SII data? Heck you want all 3 channels and really add some time to your image?

    Nice to see you have been exercising the right side of your brain by astroimage processing data into art, as much as your script work has exercised the left side.

    Beautiful image. Interesting about the structure in the SII data as most images I've seen of this object tend to have and HOO look. I'm Currently about 35hrs into imaging this target so will definitely add some SII to the schedule.

      Yes, there is so much SII! I think most people have just focused on HOO. Be sure to send me a link to check it out when you are done!

    I wish I had enough clear skies to get 50some hours on a target

      Oh this took many nights. I live down in the bayou, had to get some hours here and some hours there. Had a 4 day stretch of clear nights which was amazing!

    Did you say one hundred 15 minute exposures?! That’s some super precise guiding! What Bortle skies are you under?
    This image deserves an APOD in a category of its own. Fantastic work Frank. 🏆

      Thanks! Yes 102x900" for OIII :) i am bortle 5/6. Guiding is usually decent 0.6" average or so.

    That's a lovely image. Do you think imaging this with an OSC camera will yield good results if given enough time?

    • @setiv2
      @setiv2  7 месяцев назад +1

      There are some great duo band narrowband filters that a lot of people use for OSC. You will definitely want a OIII NB filter. That signal is really faint.

    • @magedsyehia
      @magedsyehia 7 месяцев назад

      @@setiv2 I have the antlia alpt dual band (Ha and Oiii) I will use that. But also wanted to confirm my understanding, so you mean you suggest that I use an Oiii only filter or you meant a dual-band with Oiii in it? thx

    • @setiv2
      @setiv2  7 месяцев назад

      @@magedsyehia you are correct. Narrowband is needed, was hoping you werent trying to shoot it in only RGB :)
