We stay at Lake Conroe a few months each year since we began full-timing in 2019, usually in the cooler months. We are here now and just an update, starting in May this year, they are not charging the $3 any longer for the 50amp upgrade. We have seen the changes over the year as well and look forward to the roads being improved! 😊
We stayed for a year in the paved areas near the entrance gate (old B section) - okay but too many issues & problems. Glad to have left just before lockdown took place (prefered where we was at when that took place)
Stayed there about 3 months ago. They’ve put lots of money into the new parts, but the older part is getting ignored and it’s really showing; especially in the deteriorating road conditions. Getting a site in the new areas was impossible under the “first-come first-serve” process and there were many “bagged” sites that meant they were unusable even though they were empty. I’m not a fan of the number of annual sites they have there where long-timers have planted themselves. Way too much clutter around those sites and I’m pretty certain many of the RV’s are no longer road worthy. I don’t mean to be overly negative as they have a lot of very nice amenities there. I just hope they turn their sights on improving the environment on the older back side and bring it up to the same level of condition and care of the new areas.
Thanks for watching. We stayed the first night in one of the older "buddy-style" pull through sites, but three sites opened the next morning in the loop along the lake (all new sites) on our stay this spring. It's nice you can move around as newer sites become available. And I totally agree, the roads are awful!
Thanks for watching - and I'm sorry that they "messed it up". We loved our stay last year and are headed back in a few weeks. I had heard they repaved the roads that we had shown were in need of repair, but hadn't heard anything negative otherwise.

Thanks - that's great news! I hope other TT parks follow suit with the electric charges too!

Thanks for watching! Glad you had a safe spot for lockdown.
