Omg, I absolutely adore you! I just stumbled across you channel in the middle of my college research. Your videos have been helpful and have definitely given me an idea of what I can expect! If it's not too much to ask, what are some tips you have to getting into UHM, at well as tips for recieving financial aid. I would appreciate it so much! XOXO💛
thanks girl, i'm glad this is helping you out. i would recommend just keeping up with your grades, join a club or a sport, and making sure it's a good fit for what you want to major in. i don't know anything at all about financial aid because i personally don't get it, but i know if you go to the UHM website it will tell you everything about financial aid:)
I’ve hear really mixed things about the UH moana campus, I’ve heard many people say that’s it’s old, and rundown, and a bit underwhelming. I’m thinking of applying and it would be really helpful to hear what u think!
you can call the admissions office and they'll let you know the status. they don't send you an email or you don't find out through a portal, you'll get an mailed letter from them with the decision. headed there in the fall 🤙🏼
Hey no it makes total sense! I would recommend doing a club or sport because it will always boost your application showing that you had some connection with your school, for me I was on my high school dance team and tennis team and also was in like 2 clubs or so. I don't think it's necessary but it will definitely benefit you and is always a good thing to put on your application.
also, do you have any social media where I can dm and ask a few questions about your experience so far at UH? I'm moving in in August and I'm super curious!
Yea it does get kind of annoying sometimes especially in our dorm because it gets so hot, but also the rain is super inconvenient. but you get used to it after some point :)
yea so if you reach out to someone you know is going too and decide you want to be roommates, when you fill out your dorming application you just have to have each others uh id number and make sure you communicate:)
Hey i’m gonna be an incoming freshman at UH next year and don’t really know too much about the dorms and stuff... i was wondering which freshman tower you’d suggest? like are there any differences or is there one tower you prefer over others ?
Ahhh congrats! i would definitely recommend one of the Hale Aloha towers so that way you can be with other freshman. I would say Mokihana is the craziest one, and then it goes to Lokelani (the sporty tower), Lehua, and then Ilima the quietest tower. I liked living in Lehua all the people were really nice.
if you don't mind me asking lol what was ur hs gpa? did u take any ap classes or extra curriculars? also what are u majoring? btw ur so gorgeous omg ❤️

I’m going to be a Freshman at UH this fall, and I was wondering if one of the freshman towers/dorms gets more airflow/wind than the others?
can you do a pro and con of UH manoa since I'm from NYC and its totally different for meeeee
How did you check your application status? I’m having a hard time doing so
