Those bands attract a mainstream audience and a punk audience due to being around for so long and being considered tame by today's standards. Punk as a subculture is not mainstream, I mean if it was we would see way more dudes looking like the guys in this video. Any music that is underground that gets enough attention and becomes popular enough will become mainstream even if the subculture associated with it does not, kind of like Metallica and the Metalhead subculture.
