This is the best question. Keating is my pick as #2. She can play in many ways and brings a different dimension to the England team. Her ability to put her foot on the ball and trigger the press to open up options down pitch is brilliant and natural. She is a baller. Low block, or high press, she is an attacker and a defensive spine. And shes the future of England goal keeping. She will only get better. Sarina will keep her grounded.

Reverse the scenario - no way would an outfield player be picked for county selection if not playing regularly for club. Goalkeeping is all about confidence, Hampton & Roebuck couldn’t possibly be feeling confident about playing. Neither have played since the end of last season WSL. Think they’ll need to go on loan after Christmas if things don’t change at their respective clubs.

I can tell you something. Mary doesn't have the qualities to play how Sarena wants to play. Mary is not comfortable at all with her feet like she looks dumb with her feet when playing out under pressure but make no mistake Mary is excellent at being a GK like saves ect its just modern coaches wants a GK to play ball. Keating is the best GK at playing ball at her feet.
