Cleaning IceOMatic Ice Machine 6 Month Maintnence that will save you $$$$$

A quick video of me doing basic maintnence on my Ice O Matic Commercial ice maker. If you haven't done this within 2 years of owning a similar machine, then more in depth cleaning may be necessary.

When do you purge in wash mode, and when do you purge in off mode?
Where do you get that ice scoop?

Scoop is at webstaurant… the machine will walk you through steps if new enough!

What kind of brush are you using my evaporator plate were the ice is it dirty I can't get in there to clean it

There are so many, but that’s a delicate part to clean. I recommend a baby bottle cleaner off Amazon!

Our ice machine has silver chips in the cubes. This happens a lot now that outs is 5 years old. Even after cleaning. I'm concerned that it forms from them trays up top forming the cubes. Are they replaceable?

Yes but very costly. Replace the whole machine at that rate - almost the same price. Keep your old bin and get one that fits

Could be many issues. Cleaning is 90% of the time the problem. Start there then look at your error codes for next steps
