All this is very good information for me who is on professional mode; if my post actually got FUCKING VIEWED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Great question. Yes, you need Pro Mode in order to qualify for in-stream ads, however, FB is still "inviting" people to participate in that program, so you likely won't automatically get access as soon as you turn on Pro Mode.
Great video. I didn't even realize this mode existed until I was looking at my settings and noticed that option at the bottom. One follow-up question I currently have a business page. Do you recommend having both the professional mode and continue using the business page?

@YunaPRO dang. I got my profile from 200 March first to 72k now. Was hoping to switch it over to a business page. Cause the "professional" mode doesn't give me much to work with as far as getting revenue
I think you saved me from friends not telling me i could make money of the content I post, that avoided me and did a lot not to let me know about it, thank you I'm still having issues because when I click it doesn't do anything not sure if I'm hacked or if the phone I'm using the problem or I missed a step but I'll work on it thank you again

I have two questions: First, as another user mentioned here, after turning pro mode on, i saw a massive drop in my already posted videos. They had like 2 or 3.000 views but now i see 50 or even 1 view! Is it because of the pro mode or just another bug? And second, if i switch to regular mode, will the posts and the followers that i made in pro, be gone? And even if they do, will switching back to pro have them come back? Many thank in advance!
Like I mentioned to the other person who asked this, it's unlikely that Pro Mode would actually cause your videos to get less views. More likely it's a glitch in the tracking. However, if you see a trend happening for a month or more, you can always turn off Pro Mode. If you do that, you'll lose your "insights" but not anything else.

Good question. Your ads manager likely is tied to your personal profile, so that could affect your ability to run ads through Professional Mode. You'll have to try it

Good questions. #1) yes, you still receive and send friend requests #2) yes, profile content is often easier to use for getting engagement (vs business page content)

Hey Johnny, FB will still have your old views tracked, however the only engagement stats that you will be able to see in Professional Mode are those that come AFTER you turn it on (i.e. your Pro Mode dashboard won't have any stats for content created before you turned it on)
@YunaPRO thanks for the reply :) so I tried to turn on professional mode and all my videos (and most of my vids have 1k views of more) once I turned on professional mode they now would only show the vids as having 18, 6 and 2 views but all the 200+ likes and 100+ comments on the videos are still seen.. I had my friend check and she said thats what she now sees :( so I went back to regular FB and all my video views are back. She again checked from her page and said the same thing. Ughhhh am I doing something wrong? Any help again would be awessome.
@@johnnyalonso - Sounds like things are fine. FB obviously still knows how many views each vid has, so I wouldn't worry about the number that shows -- the visible number doesn't change anything :)
How do you know if your videos are getting ads on them to have them monetized? Good video. New sub for it :) (I do have professional mode turned on and payment method set up)
Good question. In order to monetize Reels, you need 1000 views on your existing Reels in 30 days, then FB may invite you into the monetization program (it's not yet available for everyone). To monetize other video (e.g live video), you can use Stars, which is a feature you can turn on from your Pro Mode tools (under "monetization")
Hi dave, thanks for the awsome video it's really great but I have one question. According to FB reels condition, before one can get paid one need to have 1000 views over a month. What if one could not be able to reach such amount of view before the month runs down is that person still eligible to get paid whenever he/she reaches the amount of views required?

It was three months and half, I turned my fb profile to professional mode, I thoughg it was just like craeting a page, I Made it to make money from videos until today, I learnt that I can only get money from reels, and I have slready posted exhausting full day work videos (content). There isn't anything you need to do at this point. Just wait until the option shows up like I showed in this video. It will come to your account sometime soon hopefully.
I believe most of the people more interested is what is the straight forwards basic benefits if one turn on professional mode. Will he get more reach as to get more views? Which means Facebook will show his post to more audience if it is post under professional mode? I had face a very big problem is Facebook limited my post's reach to maximum 200 quite often. At first I thought my post was not popular for just 99 views after 3 weeks then later I found out my post only show up to 200 audience then stop... and it is not only one case...
Good question. I've never seen the "request is pending" message before. Two things to do 1) wait to see if Pro Mode turns on in the next few days 2) Check on mobile and desktop since both seem to operate a bit differently (you might see something different on vs the other)

Good question, Holly. Yes, they are making some big changes to enable all business owners to use their personal profiles for business purposes. As an example, some Pro Mode accounts are now able to boost posts directly from their profile! This is such a change vs. how FB used to treat profiles. Good news for us business owners!

so i just got a question, ive set up professional mode did the tax part fb paid me 77$ for reels the first mon but also says i made 245$ for my actaul page from dec 13- jan 13. the $77 was deposited but im still waiting for the page is there something i hae to do to get both paid out or will it automatically give it to me when its posted lik it did the reel money
Good question, Dino. And nice work monetizing your reels. That revenue can really start adding up! I suspect there is just a "holding period" for your page payout. Usually it can take several weeks to get paid (after the payment period is finished). If you don't see it within 4 weeks, you can reach out to FB via you business page to see what's happening.

Yes, Pro Mode still acts like a regular profile - you can get friend requests. However, people can also choose to follow you. Both options are available :)
My account was growing really fast, I turned off pro mode then turned it back on my followers and views slowed down but I’m invited to Bonus/in-stream ads and stars now currently at 9.6k followers. So did turning off pro mode affect the algorithm and I have to build it back up again?
Photos that you previously chose to have limited visibility will still remain limited, but anything that wasn't specifically limited will become public.
Quick question about notifications and messages: How do you receive messages in professional mode? Are there hidden folders like "message inquiries" as there are for private profiles?

Hey Sylvia, you're not the only one. Seems like quite a few people still don't have access to Professional Mode via their personal profiles. So far, FB has just indicated that you need to wait. However, I am working on some tests to see if we can speed up the process. I'll make a video of the results if a fix is possible :)

Good question. If you have a business page and/or group, they will be safe if you turn on Professional Mode. Professional Mode should be listed as "Turn On Professional Mode" when it's available for your profile. I'm not sure what the "Content Creator" option is offering
Hello Dave, before I saw your video I already watched so many videos here in yt on how to turn on my prof mode. The problem is I don't have the option "turn on prof mode" in my profile settings. I made lots of videos on my reels in my profile account and got thousands of views. I already check everything in my settings and I updated my Facebook app. And I already did the last option, I reported it on help support took a screenshot of my settings showing I don't have a button or option for turn on prof mode. So, basically I think I already did everything but I got nothing. I have no idea what I'm going to do next and I don't know what's the problem in my account. I live here in the US btw.
Yeah, you're certainly not alone. I don't know when all accounts will have Pro Mode access, but it's certainly coming. I know it can be tough to wait though :)

Hey Sharon, good question. I have been tracking my engagement for a while now and it's steadily increasing. I'd encourage you to watch trends over the long-term to see if there really is a drop due to Pro Mode (unlikely in my opinion), or if it was just a short-term blip.
@@AnestisKornezos nope. They didn't come back. I have now decided to leave my profile as is because my page is already doing the same job anyway. Another thing I noticed, my engagement also dropped but as soon as I reverted to normal mode all my engagement went back to where it is on average. It's almost as if they were suppressing my organic stats so that I could promote stuff.
You shouldn't need to enter an bank info in order to turn on Professional Mode. It sounds like you're trying to activate some sort of monetization feature -- for that, I'd reach out to FB if you're having an issue.

Well, organic marketing doesn't really change whether you have Pro Mode on or off (question 1). You network and create content to attract leads just as you always would. (question 2) No, you will never get ALL of your followers seeing your content.

Hey Keven, it seems like FB is testing this right now (i.e. some Pro Mode accounts have been able to schedule posts, whereas others haven't). Hopefully FB will decide to roll it out to everyone :)

I am trying to solve a problem I have a facebook profile that is connected to a facebook page and I am now trying to merge them together as one since they pretty much represent the same thing. - I switched on the professional mode on the profile to turn it to a page - i tried merging the both pages but i am having issues, have checked the links, description, banner, profile picture, links, social medias i still had error, maybe theres something i am still missing

Strange. Definitely check on mobile and desktop. You can also try turning Pro Mode off/on again. There are some glitches FB is experiencing as Pro Mode rolls out

Personally, I don't use a business page at all, but it can be useful still IF you are running FB ads

Hey Johnny, FB will still have your old views tracked, however the only engagement stats that you will be able to see in Professional Mode are those that come AFTER you turn it on (i.e. your Pro Mode dashboard won't have any stats for content created before you turned it on)
@YunaPRO thanks for the reply :) so I tried to turn on professional mode and all my videos (and most of my vids have 1k views of more) once I turned on professional mode they now would only show the vids as having 18, 6 and 2 views but all the 200+ likes and 100+ comments on the videos are still seen.. I had my friend check and she said thats what she now sees :( so I went back to regular FB and all my video views are back. She again checked from her page and said the same thing. Ughhhh am I doing something wrong? Any help again would be awessome.
@@johnnyalonso - Sounds like things are fine. FB obviously still knows how many views each vid has, so I wouldn't worry about the number that shows -- the visible number doesn't change anything :)

Good question. In order to monetize Reels, you need 1000 views on your existing Reels in 30 days, then FB may invite you into the monetization program (it's not yet available for everyone).
To monetize other video (e.g live video), you can use Stars, which is a feature you can turn on from your Pro Mode tools (under "monetization")

It was three months and half, I turned my fb profile to professional mode, I thoughg it was just like craeting a page, I Made it to make money from videos until today, I learnt that I can only get money from reels, and I have slready posted exhausting full day work videos (content). There isn't anything you need to do at this point. Just wait until the option shows up like I showed in this video. It will come to your account sometime soon hopefully.
I believe most of the people more interested is what is the straight forwards basic benefits if one turn on professional mode. Will he get more reach as to get more views? Which means Facebook will show his post to more audience if it is post under professional mode? I had face a very big problem is Facebook limited my post's reach to maximum 200 quite often. At first I thought my post was not popular for just 99 views after 3 weeks then later I found out my post only show up to 200 audience then stop... and it is not only one case...
Professional Mode does not necessarily increase post reach :)

Good question. I've never seen the "request is pending" message before. Two things to do 1) wait to see if Pro Mode turns on in the next few days 2) Check on mobile and desktop since both seem to operate a bit differently (you might see something different on vs the other)

Good question, Holly. Yes, they are making some big changes to enable all business owners to use their personal profiles for business purposes. As an example, some Pro Mode accounts are now able to boost posts directly from their profile! This is such a change vs. how FB used to treat profiles. Good news for us business owners!

Hey Elizabeth, Pro Mode is for personal profiles only. As for business pages, you likely don't need one unless you're running paid-for ads.

so i just got a question, ive set up professional mode did the tax part fb paid me 77$ for reels the first mon but also says i made 245$ for my actaul page from dec 13- jan 13. the $77 was deposited but im still waiting for the page is there something i hae to do to get both paid out or will it automatically give it to me when its posted lik it did the reel money
Good question, Dino. And nice work monetizing your reels. That revenue can really start adding up!
I suspect there is just a "holding period" for your page payout. Usually it can take several weeks to get paid (after the payment period is finished). If you don't see it within 4 weeks, you can reach out to FB via you business page to see what's happening.

Yes, Pro Mode still acts like a regular profile - you can get friend requests. However, people can also choose to follow you. Both options are available :)

It is possible that turning it off affected your algorithm. Personally, I would keep it on.

Personally, I never use thrid party apps to schedule content (not helpful for increasing post reach), so I haven't tried doing so in Pro Mode.

Hey Sylvia, you're not the only one. Seems like quite a few people still don't have access to Professional Mode via their personal profiles. So far, FB has just indicated that you need to wait. However, I am working on some tests to see if we can speed up the process. I'll make a video of the results if a fix is possible :)

Good question. If you have a business page and/or group, they will be safe if you turn on Professional Mode.
Professional Mode should be listed as "Turn On Professional Mode" when it's available for your profile. I'm not sure what the "Content Creator" option is offering
Hello Dave, before I saw your video I already watched so many videos here in yt on how to turn on my prof mode. The problem is I don't have the option "turn on prof mode" in my profile settings. I made lots of videos on my reels in my profile account and got thousands of views. I already check everything in my settings and I updated my Facebook app. And I already did the last option, I reported it on help support took a screenshot of my settings showing I don't have a button or option for turn on prof mode. So, basically I think I already did everything but I got nothing. I have no idea what I'm going to do next and I don't know what's the problem in my account. I live here in the US btw.
Yeah, you're certainly not alone. I don't know when all accounts will have Pro Mode access, but it's certainly coming. I know it can be tough to wait though :)

Hey Sharon, good question. I have been tracking my engagement for a while now and it's steadily increasing. I'd encourage you to watch trends over the long-term to see if there really is a drop due to Pro Mode (unlikely in my opinion), or if it was just a short-term blip.

@@AnestisKornezos nope. They didn't come back. I have now decided to leave my profile as is because my page is already doing the same job anyway. Another thing I noticed, my engagement also dropped but as soon as I reverted to normal mode all my engagement went back to where it is on average. It's almost as if they were suppressing my organic stats so that I could promote stuff.

Well, organic marketing doesn't really change whether you have Pro Mode on or off (question 1). You network and create content to attract leads just as you always would.
(question 2) No, you will never get ALL of your followers seeing your content.

Pages and profiles are separate and quite different. You won't be able to "merge" them into one.
