  • (I apologise for any ads on my videos. I did not approve them, YT just does it. Sorry, I hate them too). I'd been hearing a lot of people talk about the Nautilus and as I've tried a lot of other Christenson boards I thought I should try this. I borrowed my mate Henry's board for a couple of surfs. Although the surf wasn't ideal, pretty full and bumpy with a crazy backwash, the board went very well. I definitely think it's a board for better waves though, not a 1-2 ft groveller, but it was really impressive, Fast, responsive and with good drive. I didn't quite get the full hang of it, and it was a touch long for me, I'd probably go 6'8 or 6'10, but I definitely want one. Recommended.
(music is a song I wrote for my old band, The Coolites)

Hi there. I definitely prefer the Nautilus in most waves. If the surf really is really small and weak then maybe the SSB, but in general, the Nautilus. I also prefer PU over epoxy, but that's just because I'm more used to the feel. Good luck. Cheers.

A close up of the board would be nice.

That board just glides through the flat sections. Do you know how much tail rocker you have? I ask, because I’ve been making boards like these lately

Unfortunately I don't have that board anymore as it belonged to a mate. From memory the rocker was fairly consistent throughout the board, I don't recall anything dramatic with the tail rocker. Yes, they are very good boards, I'll be ordering one soon. Cheers.

@@marcusdavis2208 Hey Marcus, just saw your comment re: FCS 2 fin boxes. In Aus and Indo I've only ever seen them with glass ins or Futures. I'm sure you could order FCS2 if really needed however. I have two with glass-ins, two with Futures(mainly for travel). Cheers.
