Ritual is the movements of material manifestation that binds our desire and imagination with the movements of the body that in conjunction becomes an algorithm of sorts within the Aether that is the secrets of creation. Our minds alone can only do so much but once we add in all the other attributes given to us to use for the purpose of creating our reality then all things are possible. Every since I was very young I was always able to make things happen or come to me because I could see and understand how things worked behind the curtain.
On the topic of magic sort of. I Once had a psychedelic experience where I became so identified with what I was doing that as it permutated I felt permutations in me. It felt like strings tying to parts of my psyche and uprooting it. There was a physical sensation of rearrangement. That's not really novel, except in how extreme it felt, people identify with music and are moved. But it was unique in how abstracted the emotion was. Up until then I always thought I cried tears of joy or sadness There was accompanying images, memories, or ideas - the experience felt painful or ecstatic. One or the other. Which seems a totally valuable process. But this was beyond happy or sad. There was no accompanying images or memories. This made it It feel maybe more like a psychological sweat. Reflecting on this later I wondered if I had discovered a more abstracted emotional state, emotion beyond happiness or pain, and if achieving that abstraction allows an emotional process to be more holistic or total. Anyway that was around 13 years ago, and have never been back there, I so wish I could explore that more, but am also happy with the simple takeaway that life is more curious than you can know.
The clinical trials available are limited at this time to certian research. Research needs to be broader. I feel for drug addiction as the studies have shown psycadelics are non additive.

Wow, seriously pulled some of the ideas straight outta my head. Wonder how many other people are playing intentionally/experimenting with subjectivity and fiction nowwadays.
As a little girl, just learning to read, I would wander through the library and come across books of mythology and ancient civilizations history. I gravitated toward ancient Egypt and the god Thoth with a early fervor that I didn't understand. As I began to empty the shelves of local libraries I developed a love of writing, learning, the concepts of wisdom, cleverness, and magic...but most of all the fact that Thoth was not featured much in what I read, and so, he was my private god of sorts- although I was still a very good Christian girl who only prayed to Jesus. Around twelve years old I learned about how sometimes magic IS real, and the dangerous consequences of its reality, from my family. I then took a serious look at Thoth, and the auspiciousness of my favor toward him... As I developed my abilities with my family's help I noticed that my love for God was pulling me towards self loathing... if I was a witch I was suppose to die, right? But... that doesn't make sense, because, when I was three or four years old I received a miracle that regrew a body part inside of me. The miracle saved me from dangerous surgery; my family's fasting and my churches prayers saved my life. So God WANTED me to live, even though I was born with oddity in my DNA? I was very confused. On my thirteenth birthday I received a statue of Thoth and was so happy I set up a special place in my room for it, a shrine of sorts, and even spoke to it as a true friend for years... I don't know why but on a whim I drew what I wanted to be and added my blood into the picture and put it under the Thoth statue. Not immediately, but soon after,, it was like... some kind of Tulpa or pk entity developed around the statue. My life got very weird after that. Eventually the whirlwind of my occult journey left me almost dead, and in so much pain, that I told God if He didn't do something I was going to die right there in my bed. Suddenly it was like I was floating, and I felt hands touch me everywhere I was hurting and the pain left me whever the hands touched. All I could do was close my eyes and cry, and I saw some things im having a hard time explaining right now. I asked over and over to go with Him and pass on, but i kept getting the reply "no, you're not dying" and eventually, annoyed, "shut up you're not dying!" I think the whole thing lasted 20 min and I was able to twist and bend like I had the flexibility of a baby, no pain and laughing. Changed my life. After that incredible encounter with God, I smashed my idol of Thoth and swept ALL the pieces under my porch... but over the course of a week big chunks were popping back onto the porch. I swept them off until they stopped appearing. I dont know why I'm sharing all this... God bless...
Not sure but I am guessing the troubles you had "with Thoth" were actually the consequences of your family being against all kind of Magic and the genetic memory of the transcriptions of the Bible, like "u won't have other idols or Gods in front of me" and the negative of the ancient catholics against any kind of Magic. Beliefs can be very powerful, either for good or for bad, and the memory of ancestors fears and anger written on your genetics might have been responsible for your bad experiences. I sincerely believe that the bible is a black magic book, with damnations written on it that really do have a negative effect on any kind of spiritual practitioner journey. Namasté.
You very lucky to have had this experience n survived. The Lord must have need of you. Some people are born with innate knowledge that theres a world beyond this material construct. But theres a side that identifies this people from early age n tries to nudge them to there side hence they can get caught up in witchcraft. But the eventual aim is to destroy them before they can use their ability to help others to wake up that this physical world is not real. It's a pull that starts from childhood and it takes different forms. The sad part is most parents do not knw themselves so are aware when this pull starts happening to their child or they may even be complicit. Ever wonder why babys seem to stare at particular empty spots or places in rooms? But the parents just shrug it off as nothing 🤫
To describe both the concept of material and also perception? Look at this analogy. Imagine a cube, and upon seeing it, we understand it as three dimensional. X, Y, Z. Plain and simple! Now beyond this we always discuss the fourth dimensional well it's not just be looking outside the box? But literally understand that as there is X, Y, Z? Or the sides or even corners representing the space or surroundings what we live in? But instead the center point in the cube if you will. This center or fixed point of where we stand, and perceive is basically the reception of perception through conscious sentient thought. So in a nutshell you could hypothesize that indeed consciousness and perception thus is fourth dimensional. Our minds in a way making through dream, idea, and finally conception in innovation become the means to make the intangible material. Now keep in mind this is coming from both a metaphorical, metaphysical and also philosophical point of view.
You can trace back a lot of these concepts or 'magical terminology' to ancient religions or apocryphal groups that split from them, especially Judaism and Christianity. Alchemy and the esoteric in general all build from this root of "Speech is not only power, it is our divine quality". Concepts like God being 'the Word', what Alan mentions in the first minute of the video, and a multitude of other symbolically prevalent things in ancient belief. It's all pretty interesting!
Magick is the random desire to watch Swamp Thing but making your way down the RUclips rabbit hole by searching “magick writing” and finding yourself listening to the creator of Swamp Thing...
Ohh god damn this talk is so spot on with what I have gathered over time... I have to mention Berserk by Kentaro Miura. I recommend to read even for non comic/manga fan's, even tho it is as dark as it get's, for sheer world building... The way Miura describes Berserk universe through story telling is very similar what Moore just described in this talk. In Berserk (spoilers ahead) there are multiple layers existing parallel, present at all times. The physical world, which we can touch, the astral world which itself divides further in many, many layers each representing some form of consciousness, inhabited by various mythical creatures, and lastly the world of idea where everything that has ever been thought of takes shape and is born in the form of an idea. Later in the story a 'world tree' emerges, in it's universe better know as spiral world tree, which serves as somewhat of a bridge between the wildest imaginations of man and physical reality. It fascinates me how some like Tolkien or Miura have managed to craft world that hit so close to home... Wouldn't it be marvelous to know that at least some part of it is true? I recommend anyone that was at least mildly interested in this talk to read Berserk by Kentaro Miura...
He was able to write it because he managed to tap into the frequency like a radio tunes to a channel. Some people are born with strong antenna but everyone can eventually have a strong antenna. That's why our body is mainly water as it's a conductor and storage media too. You need to watch David Icke videos he brakes it down more. 👍
Yep, this is something so few people, including many many writers, just don't seem to grasp. Sure, a story can be well-written, entertaining, etc, but a truly great story works to certain principles irrespective of whether or not it is fictional or based on real events. I always say the greatest works of fiction will transcend fiction and give you an insight into the reality that goes far beyond what we can merely see. You're absolutely right about Berserk and the same applies to Akira, which, from a conceptual standpoint, I still hold as one of the most complete and profound stories ever told - even though most people just talk about the bikes lol
@@discipleofthecapedbaldy962 Spot on dude! Akira definitely is going to be remembered as an iconic piece that transcends that of just a mere work of fiction. Damn, gotta write this down... - "The greatest works of fiction will transcend fiction and give you an insight into the reality that goes far beyond what we can merely see". I know what you mean. I feel this way very strongly towards a couple pieces. For example J.K. Rowlings works and the Wizarding world as well as LOTR and Naurto have transcended the status of a fav. book or movie/show and become almost like a feeling for me. Sort of like a place you can go into you're mind and feel a very strong connection with. It's like every time I think of Harry Potter I can almost feel being there... Not it only associates with real sensual phenomenon like smells and for example lighting that triggers certain moods but whenever I think about it, it arouses very strong feelings that associate with it.

Hi Rob! That sound to me very much also like the concepts they talk about in law of attraction, such as in scripting that I've heard from Abraham hicks. This is a miraculous universe and only those might see that decide to see. I am familiar with the works from the bigger ones such as thoth, so thank you very much for this point of view and connection between magick and the laws of the universe and how time has shown us basically all of this over and over again. I see you and namaste :)
To any future initiates. The way your master upkeeps his physical look speaks volumes. Take this guy, you can tell that the theoi do not dwell in him. As above, so below. So below as above If you don’t use your magic, some one else will. The language of magic is symbolism. The universe speaks in energy, frequency and vibration.
the magic wand is the pen. if you like it is the human, the stick figure, the one, the individual self with a point to it. and indeed that point is expressed through words. the sharper the better. sharp= control of language and talking to and knowing the audience.... the tool must know its job elements... the writer is a magician. alan recognizes and has revealed the scape of the natural and for that we thank him for being sharply him. thank you alan, you have released information that will help
I noticed Strange incidents occur that were similar to the story I sang and recorded from Psalms in the Bible. I thought I was going crazy! I am so happy to hear I'm not crazy and that this has happened to others in a similar situation 😳 😮😊
Language magic and writing are connected to every word that we speak has vibration if we believe in it it would manifest if a language is lost and no one speaks of it or believes in it then there won't be no magic in it. Example- certain tribes used to curse at the tree to kill it so it creates vibration a tree does not have ears but it can feel the vibration in the sound waves leading to its demise.
Loved this perspective so innocent. Make me think of the word worship amongst our society...makes me feel like we are giving up our magic and response-ability because we stop co-creating our reality. Even in the religious scriptures it said "in the beginning was the word"...clearly we have be "sh'd" in our "word-ship" magic spelling!
When light shines upon light, no darkness is revealed, when it shines upon darkness, still there is none. When you improve what is outside of you, you improve what is inside of you. And when you improve what is inside of you, you improve what is outside of you. Life makes man and man makes life. Feel and act, act and feel.
There is different degrees of reality. Just as opinions differ between people. Just as there is different degrees of consiousness, different degrees of awareness. Memories and the power of imagination also vary between people. Some have deep insight, some shallow, some have stong memories, some have weak memories. These powers or skills of the mind (thought, memory, opinions, imagination, emotions) could be viewed as a language in themselves. I read a book once, that said that the ancient Hebrew language, was the spoken language of the mind. That was a wild claim! If I remember correctly (which I rarely do), the title of the book was: Zolar's encyclopedia of ancient and forbidden knowledge. Thanks for your video, and for sharing your views! You have very interesting and inspiring views of life, and your experiences.
Consciousness. The word flows when he (and another comic writer) says it. Others, unconnected with comics yet equally skilled in magickal writing, seem to unconsciously hyphenate it to con-sciousness, often placing emphasis on "con" while telling us about the inevitable doom without any heroes. Makes me wonder about the motives of those who unconsciously hyphenate the word.
You're right about their being magic in words. When I had my spiritual awakening, one of the things that I was told, was that there would be creative people who could put power and magic into their art. THE ARIES. THE ARIES WAS HERE!!!
Language is everything. Language is the code our brains/processors run on. We are all programmed by language. Bilingual toddlers literally increase their cognitive abilities massively, but the effect/advantage is lessened if not accomplished within the first few years of life(plasticity) and will not provide the same benefit to a more matured mind. We think and dream and problem solve with language. Multilingual children that were exposed and fluent early, think in multiple languages and bounce between them in their minds without effort. The effect of this is profound. This has been known for a very long time and that is part of why the English language became what it is today. The language of the masses, the simpletons, and was deliberately designed to obfuscate and distort our perspectives and construct of reality. Symbols are also effectively another language and one that has been used for millennia to openly communicate secrets to only those fluent enough to understand.
"To some degrouiee, the reason that I involved myself to magic..." hahah. So much depth and novelty inside the head of Alan Moore. I guess world events can have both a scientific and a spiritual explanation to them, and it seems like the second one even has more power to deeply motivate, inspire and contribute to individuals in their day to day perceptions of the world, information processing and dealing with emotion.

It was fresh, powerful, and effective!
When I bring my synchronisities to more or less anyone around me: "What _are_ you on about?"
When I bring them to Alan Moore: "look, mate, it's the cosmic giggle -- it's your curse now as well as it is mine."
Very very well said ! The creative experience is magic 🪄 Birth of a thought that begins to grow.
Being a writer is one of the most important careers on earth! Wow. Illustrators comes after something has been written. Scientists/Mathematicians explain after something has been written. Designer's draw after something has been written. Religions arise after books have been written
God bless...
thank you for sharing
Luke Stein boom!
Thanks for sharing (:
This is beautiful. Thanks for posting it.
Most excellent. Thank you. Deep wisdom in this. I need to listen to more of this man.
Phil Harris don't, he's dangerous....
care to explain? I have my own intuition and free will. Nothing I've heard here seems dangerous to me, if you know how to use it properly.
This was surprisingly good 😂❤
You can trace back a lot of these concepts or 'magical terminology' to ancient religions or apocryphal groups that split from them, especially Judaism and Christianity.
Thanks ✊🏾
You are a bucket list to meet my guy. I love ur work.
art is magick
Ya
Magick is art

Real magic or Sourcery is real and not artificial; which is what the Elites forbid slaves from knowing.

So below as above
If you don’t use your magic, some one else will.
The language of magic is symbolism.
The universe speaks in energy, frequency and vibration.
@@omaradrianleist-zuniga8751 so you don’t like the way he looks and therefore the gods do not reside in him? What do you look like
thats why his SWAMP THING was so good
the magic wand is the pen. if you like it is the human, the stick figure, the one, the individual self with a point to it. and indeed that point is expressed through words. the sharper the better. sharp= control of language and talking to and knowing the audience.... the tool must know its job elements... the writer is a magician. alan recognizes and has revealed the scape of the natural and for that we thank him for being sharply him. thank you alan, you have released information that will help
I listen to this periodically to check I'm not alone among the masses
oh how lucky us masses dont carry your burned , oh my heart bleeds for your endless pain.....
I noticed Strange incidents occur that were similar to the story I sang and recorded from Psalms in the Bible. I thought I was going crazy! I am so happy to hear I'm not crazy and that this has happened to others in a similar situation 😳 😮😊
Several times what I have written has then happened. I've often wondered about this.
@Unauthorized i agree. Burroughs predicted the procedure of liposuction in naked lunch years before it hit Hollywood surgery tables
I'm off to the book store to look for your books first thing tomorrow morning. Cheers Bro!
I find it hilarious Alan Moore decided to casually phase himself into the scene
Speaking is silver. Silence is gold.
This is a good explanation of the 4 qabalistic worlds of ideas and creation
When light shines upon light, no darkness is revealed, when it shines upon darkness, still there is none.
When you improve what is outside of you, you improve what is inside of you. And when you improve what is inside of you, you improve what is outside of you. Life makes man and man makes life.
Feel and act, act and feel.
The manifestation of writing is simulateneously REFLECTION and PROJECTION of our own personal realities. So indeed it is a sort of magic.
Thank you, came at a perfect time!

Alan Moore : Demonstrably
Consciousness. The word flows when he (and another comic writer) says it. Others, unconnected with comics yet equally skilled in magickal writing, seem to unconsciously hyphenate it to con-sciousness, often placing emphasis on "con" while telling us about the inevitable doom without any heroes. Makes me wonder about the motives of those who unconsciously hyphenate the word.
That man knows the score ❤❤❤ that for sure
Symbols are also effectively another language and one that has been used for millennia to openly communicate secrets to only those fluent enough to understand.
you popped up on my suggested and i couldnt help but listen

i love this guy
I was very skeptical at first, but the longer I listened to this weird looking man in the corner, I actually started to really enjoy listening
Have all of you 12 original Watchman comics. My dad has one signed by you. So cool!!
You speak truth. Great commentary.
🤔🤔🤔 anybody else have this randomly pop up on timeline in 2025?

Alan Moore is amazing!
Nature is inexplicably mysterious within and out. We haven’t a clue and never will.
I’d always enjoyed as a kid how certain words moved in my mouth
I'd love a conversation with him and Duncan Trussel
