    They don’t browse my spruce but they rub them when they get 4-5’ . Especially back in hardwoods where they’re the only softwoods

      That is definitely a risk factor. I like to do around 50/acre in bedding areas to get some to maturity. I'll add more into this bedding area next year

    Thanks for sharing, and you are correct that the spruce are much more resistant to browse opposed to white pine. good content. Bob SWWI
