'We are making sure this doesn't repeat': Maldives FM responds to derogatory remarks against India

- In an exclusive interview to ANI on May 09, Maldivian Foreign Minister stated that stand of Maldivian Government on derogatory remarks against India is that it shouldn’t have been done. Further he assured that proper action is being taken regarding the same so that such things don’t get repeated.
He said, “If you have seen as you said, we have said that it's not the stand of the government or we believe that it shouldn't have been done. We are taking proper action to make sure that this doesn’t get repeated. There has been a misunderstanding, in social media. The governments of Maldives and India understand what has happened and we have passed that stage now.”

Maldives and their citizens are no doubt ungrateful but more so are we Indians who seem to have no sense of shame whatsoever. Imagine , more than 40000 tourists from India have visited Maldives in the past 4 months inspite of all the muck thrown on our country by the Muizzus.

It is very difficult to heal the wounds created by Maldives. Just a few intermediators expressing regret would not take the relations far ahead. One way goodness is no longer comfortable.
India has security concerns with regard to the entry of Chinese in the Indian Ocean and Maldives can't expect Indians to be laxative regarding their security and pump tourist funds to them. Maldives needs to knock out China from its territory before expecting Indians to come back to its nation.

Why difficult questions are not raised about Maldives islands being used by China for anti India activities. I think this should be our concern not some clowns making some derogatory remarks against our PM. Those clowns have exposed themselves of their toxic and unfaithfulness towards India.
India pls improve our Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands.. They are soo beautiful but our ppl hv spoiled it.. Modiji pls give proper infrastructure in our islands.. India should not fall prey to their Hudaifa agreement kind of stratagem that is interlaced with tactics typical of the CCP regime like pretense of apparent softening (which is anything but) of standing from a maximalist position and posturing of a frenemy (an overarching eneny in their psyche but pretending to be benign) in order to win small battles till the tipping point is reached with sum total of victories in those small battles (analogus to CCP regime's salami slicing and pretende of friendship to extract trade benefits from India).This reachout to India has a mischievous nuisance value as well on their part which is akin to duping India with a soft submissive benign tenor into making India pay for its strategic weakening they si very much wish upon India whilist playing India against China by pretending that they would get into the CCP fold (funny as though there is still anything left for their current government to conclude otherwise) if India does not "cooperate" with their whimsical demands and if India does not fall for their bait, as a plan B they would anyway use this as an example of how unfriendly India is, in order to portray India as a bogeyman to Indiphilic section of population and political quarters out there.
India should by all means avoid providing them any limelight in Indian media, Indian public realm taking a cue from how I am not even mentioning the name of their country and ignore their calls for bilateral interactions, take very harsh actions on ground both militarily, diplomatically, in trade to silently corner them geopolitically and should reach out to their indophilic section of population subtly keeping them informed and in the loop as to how inimical their current government is to India and an explanation of why actions on India's part are necessary.

1) Get Doctors from Turkey or elsewhere.
2) Get all food supplies elsewhere,
3) Arrange for medical services with some other countries. Bharat will accommodate Only emergencies.
4) Return our dues, ask China or Turkey they will help, they are nice Guys, unlike Bharat.
Bharat gave Maldives tourists, food supplies, medicine, medical support, pilots, free vaccinations, grant of 770 Crore in 2023-24 alone, donated aircrafts, still executing Infra projects, and some- which amounts to almost nothing.... The Whole world is waiting to Give Maldives more if Bharat is made to GET OUT !!
