- Hello guys, in this video I wanted to share with you 10 things that I don’t like about BJD dolls. I would also like you to disclaim that all beautiful dolls are, in my opinion, pieces of art and I love them all, but there are things that I don’t like and this is just my personal opinion and I am not singling out anyone or anything. A company or even a specific doll. I hope you take my words into account. Thank you all for understanding and watching 🥰🫶🏻

100% agree with the foot options! As i have gotten further in this hobby i feel that having different foot and hand options are a big yes for me if they are not available i am less likely to purchase the dolls. I would rather pay more for multiple foot and hands expressions ❤😍♥️
I think that the option of buying feet and hands makes people buy dolls more and the doll becomes more fun as well 😄
As someone who makes her wigs herself, complicated styles like the one you showed are usually only possible in a permanent style because that size just needs the product to stay the way. But I love wigs that can be styled freely! But they're hard to make, unless they're actually rooted or have very close wefts. 😢
I love how you added "if that's your thing, good for you! But it's not for me", for almost every point xD I guess in the end it just boils down to that, preferences!
I know a lot of people don't like minifee because they're 'not posable enough', while I love them and prefer them over some dolls with more mobility, because posing to me doesn't just mean "what poses can a doll do", but also "how easy can it be put in a pose and hold it/ be stable in that pose" 😁 my fairyland dolls are some of my most stable dolls, standing, posing etc, while others with "better posability" cause me so much frustration because they can't hold poses without suede and wiring etc.

Don't worry, I have several videos on how to make doll wigs yourself, but the tailor's method may not suit you because I saw you making wigs. It was professional and flawless, but I prefer sewing. I don't know, maybe because I have more fun with sewing 😆 This is a great honor to have you join my friends and family in This channel 🥹🙏🏻❤❤❤
@YOUNANsDolls I'm too impatient for sewing xD I've tried it, it took too long AND looked terrible, especially around the parting line 😂 I'll watch your wig making process though, it's always interesting to see how other people do it

Everyone has their own way of making a wig. Sewing a wig for me is like therapy to me 😂 It makes me comfortable and I can make one wig every day 😄😄😆 But despite that, I fail at sewing clothes. I don’t know how to start and I fall asleep when I try. How I wish I could. That someday 😌

Thats why i have my house and garden plants hobby as well as dolls so i can have regular breaks 💚💚💚💚

This is wonderful. I love plants. They make me happy, but I don’t know how to grow them unfortunately. I also live in an area where there is not much rain and the weather is very difficult and hot almost all year round. Most of the plants do not live with us, but what should I do? I just have to live with the situation. 😂😂
@@YOUNANsDolls I have a lot of rain and not much heat so the plants that need heat go in indoor greenhouses and then i only buy plants that can survive in lower temperatures. If the weather goes cold outside, my potted plants get wrapped in multiple layers of bubblewrap 🤣 I am a crazy plant lady apparently 😅
Best place i found for most of mine was the bathroom. The humidity is good for some of them.

Dude! So nice to see you. You look great! Nice topic for this video. Isn't it great that we are all different and have different likes and dislikes for our dolls? If we all liked the same things, the BJD companies would have a problem! :D I agreed with you on quite a few things. YES, I don't care for the big facial expressions either (tongues, smiling, etc). I had one at one point with a big cute smile. But after awhile, you walk in the room and there she is just smiling away and it started to BUG ME. LOL! So she went bye bye. Magnet hands and feet with magnets that aren't strong enough... no good. But! I have a Bimong Narae with magnetic hands and feet with super strong magnets, and several different pairs of hands and feet. Super nice for changing her clothes, and she's my favorite doll by far. So.... just depends. High quality and attention to detail matter so much when we pay lots of dollars for these resin kids! My biggest thing I don't like is when the doll's joints aren't good and it takes all kinds of struggling to get them to stand or pose. Nope, can't do it. Sorry such a long reply... I'm in a chatty mood I guess. Thanks for the fun video!

There are many doll collectors who have different tastes, and this is a wonderful thing. I have Pasha Pasha. She has magnetic hands and a single joint in the knee. She is one of the most beautiful dolls. I love her very much, and I have Fairyland minifees. They have magnetic hands, but I still love them very much, even though there are many things you mentioned that do not suit me. I find all the dolls very beautiful and I love them no matter what they are❤️

I agree that there are dolls that stick out their tongues, they are very cute, especially there is Stella FID from Iplehouse. I wanted her so much, but I will not buy her because of her tongue 😅 My sister has some dolls, but they are almost abandoned 🥲 because she is more interested in drawing and is no longer very interested in the hobby of collecting dolls. 😭💔

Just wanted to say that you don't have to film something every week. Just enjoy your break and enjoy the inspiration when it comes and the process after.
I get this blockage a lot, but I'm somehow cheating to be covered for long periods of time :)) I always film stuff but I do not have as much time to edit and post. So I have so much unedited footage which is very useful when I'm without inspiration :)) Might not be the best, but it works for now

The thing with face plates really boils down to faceup damages to me. Even if the plate sits strongly on the head - which is true for all my few face plate dolls - you're always touching the face when taking off the head and it will wear out the sealing over time. (Plus: if you need to take off the head for clothing, you still have to do that! So the only pro I guess is being able to quickly change expressions, but to me... not worth it 🤷♀️
I'm OK with magnetic hands, if the magnets are strong. So far, only dolls i have with magnet hands that I like are minifees, their hand magnets are strong usually and I've never lost one. The others i have are pretty weak and they sometimes fall off when i touch them😅 i think magnet hands are good for changing hand expressions and clothes, it also allows wider range of motion because the hands can turn freely from the wrist joint.
Feet are the worst. Give me a node where i can stick the hook into like dfh and charmdoll do it, it makes changing so easy and feet don't get stuck inside shoes 😭
Ahahaha i am torn on open mouth and teeth. Because I'm a sucker for smiley faces. I agree though that they can be a bit weird looking and i prefer if they have a neutral face to change!
When you mentioned the thigh joints I knew you'd mention single joints as well xD
I'm not particular about the mobility joint or the chest joint. In fact, some of my favourite dolls in my collection don't have either. You learn to get creative with posing and I like the whole torso because I can cover them in pretty tattoos 😂
I don't need double jointed knees, my Youpladolls all have single joint knees and they're my favourites and most stable dolls in my collection.
I HATE single joined elbows though xD the arms do so much to expressions, but single joints really limit that...
(I still have and love several (mostly older) dolls with single joints and I'll never get rid of them ❤)

Yes, I agree with you. Magnetic feet are the worst. I don’t see any benefit from them, but there are people who like that. This is good for them, but not for me. 😅🤷🏻♂️

Hello my sweet sweet loving handsome friend, how are you? I'm kinda depressed, I purchased a second hand Barbie doll and the seller didn't pack her well and she came with problem on the neck connector, Some people said is an easy fix, but I've been thru a hard time so I don't want her anymore, I'm trying to sell her, since the seller is refusing to accept her back and refund me. I'll probably open a lawsuit against him, this is getting me so down and sad, but life goes on, I'm sure this will be solved and will pass soon.
