That creek was in New Brunswick during much warmer times :) Did you know you can get winter boots with built-in ice cleats? You can flip these little attachments on the soles to the cleat-side or the regular-side depending on the terrain. I don't wear them hiking too often because they are too warm, but they are really handy for short walks or for REALLY cold days. Thanks for watching!
The handwarmer also works as a sleeping bag warmer when you're camping. I toss it in the bottom of the bag about 10 minutes before going to bed and it keeps my feet warm.
