I think you can put 5 cats around it to get more Iron
nothing is spawning
Bro can u build bigger iron farm (with 20 villagers) ,like the one u built 5 months ago for 1.20.Because it's not efficient .
Bro this was a big help thank you subing right now
And 3 signs
increase efficiency by ensuring at least 10 cats are safe near the farm. Villages have a 50% chance to spawn a cat or golem, but if that cat cap is reached that becomes 100% golem and you will produce twice the iron.
Can they be tamed cats?
@@erockerr7899 yes, tamed is fine.
Can I get these cats on other village ?

Okay, I just built this farm and read through the comments. It seems like there are a few recurring issues that needs addressed, that I have even had to fix up myself. Here is some tips for those of you who still have a hard time setting up farms, and their basic steps.
1. Items not filtering to the chest correctly, but ending up stuck in the hoppers instead.
Answer: Make sure your hoppers are facing correctly. For this farm you need to place a hopper facing the wall, so that the output is literally on the wall. Then make sure the next two hoppers and their output face directly into the first hopper. After this step, make sure you break the block in front of the first hopper and place your chest. If done correctly, the Iron will filter into the chest with no problems.
2. Golems spawning outside of the spawner, above land.
Answer: You need to use some sort of half block to cover at least a 10x10 area around the spawner. I used Cherry Planks and it works fine. I find gathering leaves annoying, as I make most of my farms early on. I recommend just using slabs since they are very easy to make in bulk.
3. Golems not spawning after proofing the area around the spawner.
Answer: After spawn proofing at least a 10x10 area around the spawner, you need to do the same for any caves below. In my case, fully waterlogged caves DO NOT spawn golems, however, of there is a block of air a golem can still spawn in that water cave. You DO NOT fill in the entire cave. All you need to do is slab the caves floor below your spawner, I usually just take the coords for my original 10x10 area and proof it there only. Saves time, effort, resources, and my ability to think straight while fixing issues.
4. Even after all of these steps, my spawner is not working!
Answer: You need to make sure all 20 villagers are linked to their beds and workstations.
For the bed issue, simply go below the villagers, break all beds, and replace them. I recommend to slowly do this step. As you want to make sure that green particles are shown on each bed, proving that a villager has successfully linked to that specific bed.
You can use ANY workstation, fletching tables are one of the many you can choose from. I use composters since they are easy to make in bulk, compared to some.
Make sure all workstations give off a green particle, this shows a villager has successfully linked to it.
If you have one GREEN COATED villager, that is a "Nitwit", they refuse all jobs and will cause your farm to not work. Simply kill it and wait for another villager to grow, and link to its workstation. If the villager grows to be a Nitwit, repeat the process until it becomes a working villager.
You must be around 150 blocks away from ALL villages. Breaking the bell and killing the villagers within a close village should solve this problem.
The Wandering Trader can mess with your farm. If he spawns, kill him.
Have around 5-10 tamed cats near the farm. This will increase rates, because less cats are spawning and it leaves more room for golems [I have 5 and no cats spawn].
________________________________
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I will add them and their answers above. 🤗
I have sat here for about 10 minutes, and this farm has given me over 120 Iron so far. If you do all the steps above correctly, you should have similar rates.
I cant get it to work, but how do you link them to the bed, when the beds are under stone?
even did that, and still not working
@@Deltaforce11111 If you have all 20 villagers, and 20 beds placed correctly, they should automatically link. However, this is something that occurs sometimes, where they don't link. Simply go below the villagers and replace the beds. Make sure each bed shows the green particles above them once you place them down.
It sounds like you may have a Nitwit, bed number, or villager number problem.
If that does not solve the problem, do the same for each workstation.
If neither option works:
1: Make sure there are no GREEN COATED Villagers [This is a common error]!
2: Make sure you have 20 Villagers!
3. Make sure all of your Villagers are adults and working type Villagers!
Each villager requires 12 food points to activate willingness, with loaves of bread worth 4 points and carrots, potatoes, and beetroots worth 1 point each. When they are willing, hearts appear over them
Oh well at least u csnt do a mad sex trafficking... or can u???
Instead of using a slab you can use a trapdoor so that you can still open the chest as well as let any cats that have spawned in the water to be free from the lava so you can tame them and then better get spawn rates of golem
Does this actually work?

Seriously spent years looking for a good iron farm and this one is the simplest and works amazing! Only thing I did differently was built it above ground and surrounded it with stairs and half slabs.
I was actually wanting to do this as well! If ya don’t mind me asking though, how high up did you build the farm? And does it work just as good?
Edit:
Update: I built the farm and it works wonderful, although I didn’t build it in the sky. Rates are pretty darn good too! Was able to get like 3 stacks of iron blocks in like 2 hours maybe? Although I had some cats nearby the maximize the rates. Would reccomend 10/10.
how can you lure the villagers there quick on bedrock edition?
@@redemption7933 it’s tough to say - not exactly fast, but I built a water bridge and bubble elevator to the destination. Although it did take some time. Another method I have heard of - although I haven’t tried it myself so I’m not sure if it works for Java, Bedrock, or both, is where you can put two villagers in a boat and attach a lead to the boat. You can then drag them along. For safety, id recommend the bridge though. But if the lead works, I’d recommend that for efficiency. If ya don’t mind me asking, how far are you trying to escort the villagers?
Oh - and btw, I’d reccomend name tagging the villagers if you can - just to be safe.
@@redemption7933 another method you could do if possible, is if you wait around at night by your desired area, some zombie villagers might spawn in. You could then trap, protect, and cure them. (Although I’d recommend setting ur game to hard mode for the most amount of spawns.)

how can you lure the villagers there quick on bedrock edition?
@@redemption7933how many times are u gonna ask this
Interesting rates. I built a 10 by 10 version with 40 villagers, and sometimes golems spawn faster than the lava can kill them, and other times they spawn extremely slowly. Do golems spawn faster during the time of day that villagers are working at their station and is there an optimal afk distance for golems to spawn at the highest rates? If built in the sky or over the ocean it can also be used as a raid farm. Just make sure to cover all spawn spots inside the villager room and around the top edge of the farm with leaves. If you wait long enough golems will spawn and kill any witches that used fire resistance to survive the lava. The only downside to using it to farm raids is that sometimes evokers spawn vexes to fight golems that may aggro on you.
I always have issues with golems spawning outside the desired area. **Bedrock**
Huge tip - suspend the spawner in mid air (25+ blocks above the surface), above a large body of water. Use a water stream to travel to a small platform of leaves to collect loot.
This gives the golems nowhere else to spawn. Helps it work consistently really well

A few questions- does building it far in the sky eliminate the cave problem? And if not, is covering up the caves covering any openings to the surface or filling in the whole thing?

This build is fantastic!! Using it on my one block world and it's made all the difference. Thanks!!
Farm worked for 15 iron then golems stopped spawning entirely. Great.
I have some trouble shooting tips for anyone who has some spawning issues:
-Nearby caves can harbor golem spawns. Fill them in or cover the whole surface in leaves/glass
-This is pretty old news at this point, but for new players, slabs don't work for spawn canceling a golem.
-Do NOT put it next to your mob droppers. From my experience, my mob dropper produced almost zero drops when in close proximity to the iron farm. Once I moved the same mob dropper design away from the farm, it produced drops again.
Green cloaked villagers seem to not count towards the maximum village capacity. In this design, you shouldn't have to worry about them since you need to give every villager a job.
I hope this helps out anyone who may be struggling

This is great! You can nearly double the rates, if you build another one right next to it. You can mirror it and build it without a wall inbetween the two to make it easier to build!
To everyone: 5 cats near the villagers (for a single version) are enough to improve the rates, since no cats will be spawned in the kill chamber, so more iron golems can spawn.

It worked and I got 44 iron but then it stopped, I tried searching for nearby caves but didn’t find any. Someone help.
if you have villiger with lama next to it, kill him
It works fine, thank you so much! I'm the hero of my kids now 🙂
how can you lure the villagers there quick on bedrock edition?
@@redemption7933i see you commenting a lot DONt worry bro just use boats really simple just lure 2 villagers in the hole and start breeding easy
@@redemption7933 If you are very early in the game, you will need to find a village. Then get 2 villagers and breed them, make a villager farm. Then you can use a boat or a cart to bring them. You cannot lure them like a cow or a pig
@@redemption7933bruh how many times do u need to ask this same question
I built it above ground in a superflat, it only spawned cats around it, no golem. Do I need to place stuff around it?
Most helpful video I've found. It's pretty small cost for materials in survival.
Thank you❤.
Playing on ps5 for people who want to know 😁.
I just finished putting this together last night and its working like a charm. Though my Golems like to spawn on the outside parts of the hole. Though i've checked for caves and im far from a village. can anyone give advice on why this is and the fix? please and thank you. P.S. this is my first iron farm
Place leaves on the floor surrounding the hole. Do it in a 6 Block radius. Iron Golems can't spawn on leaves. I hope that'll fix it.

how can you lure the villagers there quick on bedrock edition?
@@redemption7933 boat, and if you're in water on the boat and need to get to land just spawn water on the land with a water bucket and go up the stream of water.
Can i build a structure ontop of the farm to make it fit into my world ? Just want to add a skyscraper above to fit my city theme
So I created it it worked for a little then stopped the golems were spawning out so I put leaves i needed more villagers bc I only had 10 but when I got more they stopped creating golems I’ve tried going back and going to 20 nothing what did I do wrong?
hey, im new to minecraft bedrock as i usually play on java, but i have build this farm and there are 20 villagers and they all have jobs, i have 10 cats close so they dont spawn cats, but there are no golems spawning, ive checked for caves and even ran the /kill @e[type=iron_golem] command so idk what is wrong
how can you lure the villagers there quick on bedrock edition?
@@redemption7933 use boats to move them, or you can use minecarts
i have the same problem
@@sxvxns I haven’t been able to find out what it was so I just built a different one
@@inzanium i see, i’ll try again in a different area and see if that works
if the golems dont spawn i would highly recommend hopping in spectator mode to see if they spawned in a cave or just anywhere nearby and then blocking that area off thats what happened in my case my golems didnt spawn and there was a tiny underwater area where 2 golems just were chilling once i killed them and blocked the area off they started spawning in the farm!
Comment se m'être en mode spectateur sur bedrock ?
@@legg2974if you use /gamemode spectator it should work, cheats just need to be on I think.

This farm is very good, still works now. If you are having doubts, build it in creative before hand to check it works.
Finally a working farm. Thanks so much man. You’re the best!!!
Does it still work for you guys, mine is not working anymore, anyone know how to fix it
Me too me too
What should be the simulation distance (chunk (settings)) for the farm to be efficient?
it depends how close you are to it, if your close let it low if far turn it up
I built the farm exactly as explained but there is one problem,
i placed three hoppers : one at the corner and two beside it on each side as shown in the video.
and placed the chest as shown as well but only the middle hopper(at the corner) is connecting to the chest.
the other two hoppers are not connected anywhere so if a golem dies on top of either of them the iron is stored in the hopper.
any fix for this or should I place a chest for every hopper separately?
Thanks! Using this in my realm and works beautifully!
Do you need to be directly next to it all the time? Also how much does it make per hour in your experience
I did it and this is how much I get:
0 Iron per hour
Haven’t logged on since the 1.20 update, but I’m assuming the trading hall iron farm variant you posted for 1.19 still works, right?
Yes
I build the farm exactly the same, all of them have the same jobs, there are exactly 20, I’m 500+ blocks away from a village, there are no caves for them to spawn in, and after all of this 0 spawn. Idk what to do.
It worked after I placed zombies in with the villagers
