I guess those music tech companies intentionally create products with built in design failures to make musicians suffer while constantly upgrading in desperate try to achieve some reasonable functionality (which is mostly denied from the start by design)... Can’t go wrong with just a standard loop pedal, the 300 is still great and has the best design, the features on the 600 are great if you have the time and patience to personalise it 👍
thanks for this video. if you want to be able to mute the mic on the rc300 without bending down, you might want to buy a vocal pedal that has bypass and set the volume to zero. u can bypass it most of the time, and then when you want to mute he mic, turn it "on" (which will be silent).
Also I re assign my RC300 mic to effects pedal to mute mic, and its possible to assign the volume pedal also! I youtubed it lol! Cool music mate....Dave

Is it worth the upgrade i have the rc300. Is the bass effect better on the rc600 as i use it a lot on the rc300? Its hard to tell on the video as it will always sound different in person.
