Graham is just the best host. He knows exactly when to step back and be silent for a moment to let his guests talk and crack jokes, but also when the best moment is to drop a joke himself. He earns every price he’s even given.
He is and that shows time and time again when you see hear about previous guests on his show constantly say that they had the best time ever on his show. Hr brings out the best of everyone. Even actors I normally don't like are quite enjoyable on his show.

I NEVER would have thought of Graham in that role but now I can’t stop imagining how great he could’ve been! “Miranda hired me, she knows what I look like.” “Do you?”
Stanley Tucci has such range as an actor. From the Devil Wears Prada to Caesar Flickerman in the Hunger Games to portraying Adolf Eichmann in Conspiracy. When you can seamlessly move from frivolous fashionista to extravagant gameshow host to menacing Nazi responsible for implementing the Holocaust, that’s range.
Things happen for a reason and in this case it’s a good reason. The Devil Wears Prada was made before the Graham Norton Show exploded and became the best chat show going, if Graham got that part and it lead to bigger and better things we might not have this show anymore, and I can’t imagine anyone other than Stanley playing Nigel.
Only in the US. Graham Norton's talk show was already a huge hit in the UK and definitely in Australia years before The Devil Wears Prada. The US was very late to the party.

Stanley Tucci is just a very convincing actor. I love the versatility of roles he's played. Haven't seen him in any dark roles yet, don't want to spoil my positive impression of him.
You didn't really say what you meant, so your sentence really confused me initially. 'He HAD met' is past perfect tense, and you didn't need that. 'He met his . . . .' is all you needed. When I saw the picture they showed of Stanley Tucci in 'The Devil Wears Prada', I was going to say that I liked his ring, but then I thought that might be misunderstood.
The reason they cast more straight men than gay in gay roles is because the public find it more palatable, there is a stereotypical “gay” man that audiences either enjoy or don’t mind seeing, but if it’s too real/too close to reality, people either see it as unbelievable or fake. I went for an audition once for a role that was a gay man and got told it wasn’t believable, being a gay man myself I found it a bit rich that some straight bloke was sitting there telling me my “gay” wasn’t believable... When I went to see the show the guy playing the role was so overly camp it was ridiculous and didn’t add anything to the show, it wasn’t even a comedy role (as most gay roles tend to be)
...@1:22, anyone....between laughter/crowd/bad CC, what did Graham say after ‘not making it better, Stanley, _____(?) had been offered the role...’..? Thanks in advance...:)

Stanley Tucci is most american than baseball.
He might become English. He’s married to Emily Blunt’s sister.
