It takes a despicable level of arrogance and ignorance for anyone, Ghanaian or Nigerian, to make disparaging comments about someone else's food. Who says people need your permission or approval to choose what to eat or not?

It takes people who are not Ghanaian just 2 to 3 days to eat Ghanaian food because they way we Ghanaian prepare food is so nice and a special everyone can taste it or eat. That's the reasons why any foreigners came to Ghana to try our foods. In fact we have more than 10 food we Ghanaian eat. Our foods are so special even if you're not Ghanaian Ghanaian and have not taste Ghana food before, so easy to try for just 2 days then the person will love it to eat Ghanaian food every day.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Don't mind them, most of them are sick in the brain because they lack real nutrients from food because everything they fry and the people that fry or cook all the time they don't know how to cook because they don't know how to make food taste good without frying or boil it. I use to work with a nigerian and every time i bring food she enjoy it and she use to tell me Ghana food is goodooo so one day i think she wanted to bring food because she felt bad by not bringing hers for us to eat which i didn't care. On one occasion she brought jollof rice and said we should come and eat and i thought jollof is jollof it wouldn't be bad, hmm i just put mouth full of the this rice and immediately i wanted to vomit , i felt the vomit was coming out so i told them am checking something i will be right back, if i didn't rush i would have disgrace myself infront of them, but this lady am talking about is very nice lady, i fell bad by not eating the food because she didn't see me coming back to continue eating and i think she god angry but didn't want to show it but is not me , i couldn't eat it. since then i have never get close to nigerian food. And that is why you never think your food is better than someone, you have to appreciate when someone like your food. And that's how we Ghanaians are, we always appreciate , we're civilized people. We understand culture and backgrounds because people are raise differently and that is why you don't be too happy when your food taste good for just you. For me i think nigerian doesn't know how to cook, they need training from us.

Next time try toasting the corned beef in a pan after you fry the egg, or before because it may not be good for the corned beef to soak up the oil the egg was fried in. Also corned beef has lots of fat that can help fry the egg if the corned beef fat is not enough to fry the egg you can always add more oil of course. If you still don't like the corned beef when you try it this way with the combo then it's just not for you.

Wow, no offence to you at all but I have to say this. Some Ghanaians care so much about how other cultures embrace their culture so much that they will deny that something is done the way it is or try to play it down if that cultural element is ridiculed, disliked or looked at with suspicion.
That particular thing doesn't even have to be destructive all it needs to do is be different enough to invoke a xenophobic response from a foreigner or a simple dislike from a preference point and certain people will deny it. They start by telling us how they are Ghanaian and their grandfather is Kwame Nkrumah just for authenticity and to distance Ghana from that particular cultural element that is being criticised.
I say all this to say if you are Ghanaian born and raised in Ghana and have never seen people eating Banku with fried eggs and you have singled out students to be the ones who eat this combination a lot and not the rest of Ghana then I feel you are being disingenuous if you are not, then you have lived extremely Isolated from other Ghanaians.
