We were exploring some old roads in Maharashtra when we came across a roadcut. At first, we spotted a few veins of apophyllite and stilbite, which got us curious, so we decided to dig around. That’s when we hit the jackpot-a huge cavity filled with rare Gyrolite Balls on Brown Chalcedony Stalactites, with Pink Apophyllite mixed in. It was an amazing find, but the adventure got even wilder when a massive thunderstorm hit, making the whole landscape look lush and green with the monsoon winds. The pieces were super fragile and flaky, but it was my first time coming across gyrolite, which made it even more special. In the end, we managed to pull out around 200-300 pieces, each one unique, with beautiful stalactites, gyrolite balls, apophyllite, and heulandite flowers.
