He's just one of a few to win the Premier League like Ian Wright and Chris Smalling. Keep in mind professional footballer is technically Prem to League 2 I think. Cohen Bramall went from Non League to Arsenal last year and he's 19/20. Sam Clucas released from Leicester at 16 for being too small... Played for Swansea in Prem and now Stoke in the Championship. And that's off the top of my head.

Robin Olsen played in the 5th division in Sweden when he was 20 years old... Now 8 years later he reached the quarter finals with Sweden in the world cup and also became Sweden's most expensive goalkeeper of all time. Now he is the number one goalkeeper for AS Roma and he is about to play in the Champions League.

    It's really rare..
But for example: Hendrik Weydandt, currently a striker playing for the second team (Under 23) of my favorite club Hannover 96, was playing Sunday League Football like 4 years ago. He really impressed the fans and the coaching staff and right now he's negotiating with the Hannover 96 management for his first professional contract to play Bundesliga football!

If you just want to play football as a job then keep going and if you become a professional then work even harder to achieve bigger and better dreams but if you want to straight away play at a top level then you won’t have any motivation to even play in the Championship. I’m 15 playing for a Sunday league team and my school all I know is that I want to be a professional first then when that happens work my arse of to get and play at the biggest stages in football.

I'm 18 yo, from India and haven't played football earlier (only backyard football). I don’t know why not many point out this but what I’ve seen from my experience and some other people I knew and their story is that “PARENTS “ Alright lemme explain on what I’m gonna say, parents plays crucial part of whether u gonna go professional or not and not just some but many players who are confident of themselves and has the skills physicality to play professionally and willing to go for a tryout and stuff but their dreams of becoming a pro simply gets destroyed by their parents!! It’s just not some but majority of parents especially if u come from Asia,Middle East, or have parents from that continent specifically and u came to abroad to study but u also wanna pursue your career as a pro!! It’s blocked BLOCKED AND tarnished by ur parents because they simply just believe that u either have to be an doctor, engineer, businessman, lawyer etc. after u finish high school and going to college.. When ur parents who don’t support u at this point, it’s just hard like no point of going for it anyway and I don’t know if any can relate to this or not but I just told y’all some of my friends experience who went to abroad with their parents for studying or what not and wanted to become athletes but nvm.... It’s just pure sadness, sorry for writing this long and I couldn’t explain this in brief statement, I had to write pure experience stories no fake or made up bs

It’s actually realistic to become a pro at 20-25 but there is a thing that you should forget it if you haven’t played soccer yet or for you it’s difficult to train or you compare you’re self to others !! The thing is not the hours or you’re age or anything! You can make history only if you do this properly , not comparing because if you do that you never going to be the best ! I’m saying that because I started football at 5 years old but I was in youth clubs , I haven’t played soccer 2 years but still I have big chance because as you get older you’re getting more stronger ! Everyone has they’re on opinion ! In football base thing is you’re attitude of soccer !! Not you’re sleep time at all , you’re hours of working or other shits ! So don’t even worry , you worry about that , forget it , you love it go for it ! You don’t need to be compared with Ronaldo , that doesn’t mean that you can’t but ! For being in that big level you have to lie to you’re self and do everything for it , and do big risks ! It’s really gonna work , again you gonna have lots of failure but it’s gonna work and you can see yourself in a good team !
