I never ever visit a new restaurant, especially the hyped up ones on opening day. But, when it's my favorite food and the people preparing it are literally the best at what they do, I have to give in to the hype.
The chicken was delicious but there's more to running a successful restaurant than just food.

The reason I think things seemed so disorganised is because they could be prioritizing the media side as that's where the event will be covered and hence they neglected the general public. I was there yesterday (May 3) at 1140 and was able to get seated after a short wait.
We enjoyed the chicken very much as well as the tteokbokki too.
Tteokbokki and drinks arrived within 5 mins, but the chicken took 40 minutes

Yoo Alderic, great video even though I don't live in Singapore, I'll be sure to keep the places you've visited in mind when I do. I feel like staff really dropped the ball here in regards to your order (and perhaps even a lot of other people's orders), perhaps an issue with how their staff system operates and perhaps even lack of training / pressure, or both. Either way when I heard there was no crunch on that first chicken order + the powdered chicken being lukewarm I knew they done goofed.

I don’t know what it is with franchises/ fast foods in Singapore. They take so long for the foods to come out.
So many media tasting overhype this fried chicken, mostly because they dont need to queue that long and the food that came out was probably warm to cold😂 i had the same experience with other cafe in malaysia that took almost an hour to deliver the food out but the food was not close to warm, it was very off putting🥲 so i get what u mean, thanks for the review because youre basically the keith lee of singapore LOLS

I think they didn't give you the dipping sauce for your bbrinkle whole chicken..just like when they served mine. I checked with a staff and he didn't even know that this order comes with the dipping sauce by default!!!
Anyway, after the staff checked my receipt, then he realized the order indeed comes with a dipping sauce...
yep! but I heard some people hated the sauce, should have mentioned that in the video.

Maybe u should just rate the individual type of chicken instead of just 1 drumstick for overall Experience. We are judging food.nkt thr environment. 😅. But from he englishman channel.... Seems like the one that Haha endorsed is the best. I believe korean baked chicken are also really good as theh can even make them crispy!

I just had BHC chicken 2 weeks ago in Myeongdong. had a 40 min waiting. ordered almost same as you ordered, with the fried tobboki as well. its bad. disappointed. of course its crowded, but its not up to my expectation. the flavor quite strange, like it doesnt blend properly with the chicken. we didnt go back to BHC, bad...

@Alderic apart from coping with the crowd, taste seems quite meh according to most reviewers. Chances are crowds would dwindle soon.
