There is nothing written for accordion. Buy music written for piano and improvise with the left hand. I wish I knew this 40 years ago.

Thank you soooo MUCH!!! I am trying my hand at the accordian after MANY years! My Father, who is deceased, LOVED playing the accordian, guitar, harmonica..I wish I had paid attention.. you are so incredibly patient, and play the tune so slowly and make it possible for someone like me to GET IT!!! Muchisimas Gracias

@Victorspenis you try looking at second-hand music stores, GoodWill shops (they are REALLY CHEAP there!), or garage sales. most ppl dont really know how expensive they should be. so sometimes you might find a really nice accordion sitting on a self somewhere collecting dust with a sale tag on it. internet is usually the last place i look, you might get gyped or u might pay too much for it. just keep poking around!

This is a Weltmeister Achat. It has 34 treble keys and 80 bass buttons. They left off the diminished row. (not generally needed for most tunes)

I assume you have a 120 button accordion, so from bellows outward, the columns would probably be... counter-bass, fundamental bass, Major, Minor, 7th Chord, Diminished. Hope this helps!

Don't worry. The extra column of keys is for augmented chords, which you hardly ever use. You can pretty much pretend they're not there.

if you get--I think it's, Charles Nunzio's-- "Hanon for the accordion"comment do a few pages of that to help you learn how the left-hand bases and the right-hand ordered exercises go together, you really jump forward, . . .
