Thank you soooo MUCH!!! I am trying my hand at the accordian after MANY years! My Father, who is deceased, LOVED playing the accordian, guitar, harmonica..I wish I had paid attention.. you are so incredibly patient, and play the tune so slowly and make it possible for someone like me to GET IT!!! Muchisimas Gracias
Hallo, I am starting also to play Accordeon four weeks ago in age of 46☺️ Thank you thausend Times for showing how to play this great Song. Greez from Nothern Germany
@Victorspenis you try looking at second-hand music stores, GoodWill shops (they are REALLY CHEAP there!), or garage sales. most ppl dont really know how expensive they should be. so sometimes you might find a really nice accordion sitting on a self somewhere collecting dust with a sale tag on it. internet is usually the last place i look, you might get gyped or u might pay too much for it. just keep poking around!
To: @BlackFolkAndPiano This is a Weltmeister Achat. It has 34 treble keys and 80 bass buttons. They left off the diminished row. (not generally needed for most tunes) Here's a picture at keyword:thomann.de/gb/weltmeister_achat_3480iii53_rot.htm
I have just inherited an accordion of my dead grandfather ... have never tried it before, but this song took me 1 ½ hours, so some talent, I must surely have hehe
I admire you for learning the song.. This is one of my favourite songs. I never thought playing the accordion was so hard.. I never tried it , I only play the piano:D It seems way more difficult :) Good job!
I love a lot your work over the accordion and i would like to ask for a little service or aid. i've begun few days ago to play it after see your videos. I've an accordion "estrella" brand. it has 8 basses and 22 notes or marks. in resume i would like to know the combination for the accompany with this accordion for this song. Thanks a lot.
im teaching myself the accordian and i really wanna play this but i dunno if its too advanced or not. im practicing really hard and wanna get this song nailed cuz its really beautiful. great tutorial, though!
Thank You for the tutorial :)It is really helpful. U R the best for creating such a thing. Will you be doing tutorials for any other songs ??? i jeszcze raz stokrotne dzieki :)
The song probably needs to be played faster, but since you are showing us how to do it, the song may get harder to play or have a weird melody when played slower. Thanks for this.
I assume you have a 120 button accordion, so from bellows outward, the columns would probably be... counter-bass, fundamental bass, Major, Minor, 7th Chord, Diminished. Hope this helps!
if you get--I think it's, Charles Nunzio's-- "Hanon for the accordion"comment do a few pages of that to help you learn how the left-hand bases and the right-hand ordered exercises go together, you really jump forward, . . .
Hi your are playing very good and help me to learn this song :)maybe you have notes for accordeon?or this songs:J'y suis jamais allé,L'homme Aux Bras Ballants
Is it possible to play this on a 48 bass Accordion? Mine has 4 rows instead of 6 XD would very much like to learn this osng, but im not sure if the lack of buttons is a hindrence.
Vai em frente cara !!!! ta indo muito bem, só treinar mais um pouco. Vai fundooooooooooooooooo "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sds: Wiliam, Joinville SC Brasil.

There is nothing written for accordion. Buy music written for piano and improvise with the left hand. I wish I knew this 40 years ago.
that was the best instructional video I've seen on youtube. Please put up some more songs this way. Thank you for teaching me this song.

grazie! very useful for a complete beginner in accordeon....like me!!!!
Great ! do you have others "how to play" for accordion chromatic ?
Don't worry. The extra column of keys is for augmented chords, which you hardly ever use. You can pretty much pretend they're not there.
At the end of the day it counts how many good fruits you take out of your ground, not how much the ground itself is good.

I have a 12 bass, just got it today. What I do is just play a sustained D, A, D, A, C, F, C, F. It works out well.
Great lesson :)
But has someone the notes for the piano part ?
It begins with A B C B C D, C B , A D and then ?

Skillful playing with thoughtful clips. Otherwise, I must familiarise myself with composition.
