Currently playing the game now, and I'm liking it. It's like Murdered Soul Suspect but with action. Definitely not for everybody but I think it works for the people it's aimed at.
Agreed. Alot of people are have said its messy, but fun. I personally loved Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments, so maybe the detective elements save it for me.

Whoever said Cthulu is not supposed to be scary is missing the point by a mile. It's just not supposed to be "jump-scare"-ish, but rather build it's horror on ambience and a feeling of inexorable existential dread.

Thats the first of your videos i've ever seem, and i must say i really liked the pacing (more walking AAAAAAA), the good/bad points exposition and the edits and jokes. 10/10 ill keep looking for further content.
This was my first video I ever found by ranton and I love it lol
I’m actually loving the game. Idk why but the dull and darkness of the game is exactly what I wanted. I think the detective work features of the game and how it doesn’t really tell you exactly what to do step by step is pretty cool since other games like Skyrim practically gives you a tutorial in the journal.
So glad I was recommended by jacksfilms. Started laughing immediately to the style of humor.

The Cuthulu mythos is supposed to make the reader (in this case the player) feel insignificant and provoke feelings of insanity and helplessness. If you would have read the books at all the game would have made more sense lol.

Yeah, unfortunately, the ending is all a bunch of Dagon lore stuff. It’s mostly so Lovecraft fans can freak out over it, it’s not that exciting for someone who doesn’t really understand the mythos.
I dont even understand lovecraft fans. They love the creatures and the mythos of Lovecraft but they dont seem to love the storytelling aspect of it. And it doesnt make any sense sinceLovecraft short stories are marked mainly by its storytelling, not that much by the old gods. There are stories that barely even mention any creature, mythos or old gods... So it kinda annoys me when fans freak out over games or movies that mentions the old gods but fuck the storytelling, and when there is something that nailes the storytelling genre of Lovecraft, nobody gives a shit.
