I have a 2019 Bite, which I like because of all the open deck space. My main complaints: the seat and the bungee systems are fixed on the new model. The Bite is marketed as an entry level kayak, but I think of it as a more advanced kayak. The open cockpit provides many more sitting and standing options than the so called more advanced kayaks that clog up the middle with consoles that limit seating and standing options. I have a sail attachment for mine, which I can put on in minutes. Impossible on kayaks with large consoles. Wondered what those small recesses behind the seat were for? I mounted more gear tracks. One of the main features of the boat that I find very useful are the tackle box recesses, and molded cup holder. It is a great kayak and pretty fast for a kayak that is this stable.
I can tell you it handles nice, was talking to my buddy who is exclusively into Ocean fishing only and he said he is quite pleased. Myself i fish lakes and rivers, on big lakes in Northern Alberta And Northwest Territories Canada like isin Alberta Slave Lake or NWT Lesser Slave Lake that is the biggest and the deepest in the world it handles everytjing with ease , only problem i have is that i'm not used to standing from the seat, i love it and wouldn't gave up for nothing just i need a bigger yak.Bite is worth every cent and good investment, you can fish, hunt, camping etc and wont empty your pockets.

I mounted more gear tracks there as well. More accessible than the forward ones. Yak on!
