It's my favourite turntable aswell, no electrical noises to be be found in the signal, and I like the way it looks too. Amazing value for an entry level turntable.
Hi . I just picked up a real nice SL 2000. It’s my first turntable. I also installed a new Ortofon black cartridge. My question is . When I turn the volume up to 20% the drivers on my speakers start over extending , flubbing for a lack of a better word. What could cause this ? Sound decent at low volume . Thank you
i get it as well. i found turning the bass down helps. basically a feedback loop. www.reddit.com/r/audiophile/comments/13hgake/any_tips_on_stopping_controlling_feedback_through/
Just got one of these, works great! But it hasn’t been serviced recently as far as I know. What’s the best way to reduce wow and flutter, and where should I start with making sure everything is in good shape inside?

well I'm having more problems with the unit. your likely looking at re capping the unit and replacing all the pots.
